Alright, everyone. This was a short film created my freshman year of highschool for an English class project. I know that Doodle was a boy...my actor wasn't able to show up, so I was the only person who could take the role. Thanks to all of you who do have supportive comments and don't complain about Doodle being a girl, haha :)!

WOW that was really good although the ending made me really sad. Overall i really enjoyed watching this and i think you should continue makeing these types of videos, even though you may think it's not "profetional" it doesn't meen that it was bad, it was awesome!

@LittleSparkleJD Thanks :)! It is possible for you to be a director, but you just need to have connections. Unfortunately, it's all about luck in the movie business (my parents both work there.) It took me 2 weekends to film this. I was also rushing, because I was Doodle last minute and I REALLY did not want to be him xD. Good luck on your films!

i remember reading the short story and crying T_T and you allmost made me cry again i really like how you used some of the original lines from the book ^_^ my only critique would be that some of the parts there could have been more emotion in the acting ^^ but i really liked it : ) ~nekomadi

@wharris2 This film was based off the short story by James Hurst. In the book they don't exactly say how Doodle died :p, they just said he was soaked in blood when the brother found him. It might have been from heart failure since Doodle was physically weak. Thanks for watching it :)
