As for the CAN-USA thing - a few iditos can't spoil it for most people. I was in Edmonton for the SC finals in '06. In an earlier series, a few dimwits in Edmonton booed during the US anthem - and in response, the rest (vast majority) of the crowd sang the Star Spangled Banner even louder. That carried on throughout the playoffs.

Unfortunately booing the American anthem only seems to happen in Montreal. Why? I don't know but its uncalled for. That doesn't happen in Vancouver, Calgary or Edmonton.
