apartheid was agreed upon my whites and blacks as they knew they couldnt live together; someone do some history ! Since the apartheid has ended, who is worse off? the blacks ! Nelson mandela was a terrorist; you know what he was caught with when arrested? no one knows the true history! youve all been brainwashed ! british colonialism was the greatest thing to happen to impoverished nations !
@1973mazdarx4coupe And by whose standards were all these nations "impoverished"?
Such a typically Western thing to say. "Without [insert European country here], so-and-so country would never have had roads/machines/proper clothes/etc.!"
Yeah well, so-and-so country would also have never had all their natural resources plundered, fatal foreign diseases like syphilis and influenza, been forced into various religious denominations, nor been treated as second-class citizens either.
I love this version of the song. Mama Afrika may have left us, but her music remains for all to appreciate. Thank you Miriam for blessing us with your beautiful music! Gone but never forgotten...
Determined, committed & devoted to fight injustice, HEROES, like Miriam Makeba, Nelson Mandela, Martin Luther King, Malcolm X, Mahatma Gandhi, never get silenced nor intimidated by injustice & sadistic governments. Celebrated & engraved in the hearts & minds of billions of people all over the universe, HEROES glow & shin for decades & centuries, reproducing millions of heroes of their kind.
Thanks for the sacrifices of Miriam Makeba, millions are free to live & celebrate life.
No! That was Juǀʼhoan. There are very few pygmies left unfortunately, and the languages they speak have even more clicks than Xhosa.
About 10-15% of Xhosa vocabulary comes from Khoisan languages. However, it is a Bantu language with no relationship with the Khoisan languages other than through borrowing.
damn!! i love being African!!!
