  • Love this idea! Thanks.

  • Thank you July :) It is inspiring!! I will try it! You are great!!

  • do you have to tape all sides or just the one side?

  • @marisagetz1 It looks like she only tapes the side by which the paper feeds into the printer, which makes sense so that the rollers in the printer will not separate the towel and card stock. I suppose if you wanted to tape all sides for extra safety you could, but it would be much more difficult to separate the paper towel from the card stock that way unless you cut it off after printing.

  • @marisagetz1 Hi! i realised @MindFullOfScorpions have already answered your questions. Better that i would:) heee.....hope that helps;)

Thank you for watching my vid.

    July;)

  • I can`t wait to get some spray glue!!!

  • Thank you for sharing your video! Im a 1st time crafter, therefore, everything craft is new to me. 4m ago my daughter had my 1st grandchild, & your spool inpired me to do my very 1st project simular to yours, however, i would like to make mine like a scroll using paper towel rolls.I would be greatly honored for some advice... will the technique used for the paper towels be used for the canvas?& after gathering my images how do i put them together to make it look like one long roll? <3 the music

  • Thank you for this video! I love your accent and also the music!

  • absolutely fantastic idea...thank you so much for sharing your creativity!

  • Fail on pulling it off the cardstock.. I would just leave it on it! Txh for sharing.

  • i love all your artwork! :)

  • I like this format so much, with you talking instead of just showing the process. I enjoy hearing you explain it! The music gets old haha, keep them coming!

  • THAT IS THE BEST IDEA EVER !!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • This is awesome! I'm going to try this out for sure! Tfs?

  • What a clever project...thanks for the tutorial.

  • I like your artwork!

  • dear july... i assume u live in singapore as i saw ur neighbourhood in one of ur vids. wer do u buy ur art supplie?? i live in spore too. thank u!!!

  • @MsHappyjellybean But of course, i am a Singaporean;) Thanks for watching my vids. i bought my supplies from Art Friend. for scrapbooking supplies i usually bought them from Papermarket or Laines Papeterie @Wheelock. Hope that helps;) July

  • What kind of printer is that? I LOVE your work!!

  • @leetlemother its inkjet printer from Epson (TX550W) Hope that helps;) July

  • Thank you for the video. I have admired your work for some time. I also have tried some different methods to do inkjet prints on sewing pattern tissue and white tissue paper for collage. Do you use some kind of fixative to keep the ink from smearing when using the gel medium?

  • @sallypc3 Thank you for watching my vids. hmmm....so far i don't have any problem with the ink when i collage my printed photos with the gel medium. you can watch my vid on "mixed media scrapbooking" where i collage my photo, there's no problem at all;) you may want to try....i don't think the ink will smear at all.

    Hope that helps.

    July

  • Very cool! I will have to try this.

  • Wow...I luv your work!!! So glad I found your videos...TFS!!! I want to try different techniques, something totally outside the box of scrapbooking or techniques that I could incorporate into scrapbooking.

  • Thank You- I just bought some spray-glue today- can´t wait to try this out- still don´t know if it´s meant to take away the paper from the back or not... I´ll try- thanks again!!!

  • This is so neat. so nice to hear your voice.

  • This is so awesome July! Thanks for sharing. I am definitely going to try this!

  • Thank You, July- for your kind reply- I was just thinking that it looked so hard (impossible) to get the papertowel off the paper-backing- maybe that´s how it should be?

  • This looks so tempting- can´t help but wonder though- what would happen if you didn¨t spray anything- just tape it on the top and sides? It looks like if it got a bit stuck from the spray, no?

So grateful for your sharing this!!!

  • @tisdagarmedtina Thank you for watching my vid. if you don't spray anything and just tape it on the top and sides, the printer might 'eat' you papertowel which will may spoil your printer. Hope that helps. ;)

  • Thank you everyone for your encouraging comments. July:)

  • Really great idea, love your art work!

  • Great technique. The spool is too cute!
