First, he says "bottom of the gap is 1008.82," and that is what is written on the screen. Then, he says, "bottom of the gap is 1082," and that is what is written on the screen.
Which one did he mean? How can they both be the "bottom of the gap?"
we are new at doing this and I am sure we will make mistakes. Its not easy, Tim had never done this. He came from Dean Witter S&P desk and he runs his won numbers. I take tham at the desk. Perfect? No. Come from a good source? For sure. I have been in the spoos since 1985 and run the largest index operation on the floor. I could use anyones stuff and I only use his. Take it for what it is, no swip at you but hes good at what he does...
Hi, I'm truly sorry. I did not mean that as criticism of Tim. I hoped he, or someone, would clarify the number, since the information is important.
I think Tim's doing a great job, and I enjoy watching the videos. I work in film, but behind the camera. I could never stand in front of it, so I admire him for doing so. More important, I admire Tim for putting his thoughts out there for all to see. That takes courage and confidence.
