Why the HUMMER hate? I think Jeeps and other 4x4s are cool, but bought a H2 as I tow a large trailer (as example Jeeps can't tow much...and pick up wont fit in garage) and I have wife and three kids. Even the Commander was too small inside....I have no hate towards Jeeps or any 4x4, but I ALWAYS see people hating on HUMMERs....why? I can only guess you wish you could afford one? And hate those who can? No flame, just curious....

I used to have that exact same hummer and glad i changed it for a range rover, it was horrible, they are terrible off road, the body stresses a lot, the brakes rub and the steering is shaky plus you only get about 7 to the gallon off road, i held the tyre inflator swith on too long and all four tyres blew up when i was on the freeway trying to push past 55mph, its the worst and cheapest put together 4x4 ever built and worst of all, the paint scratches easy h1 h2 and h3 are a load of rubbish

I know everybody thinks Hummers are the ultimate offroad vehicles and so forth, but why is it every time I see one actually wheeling, it's lifting a tire (particularly the H2)? Even over easy terrain like this? I've had cars with more suspension travel. The front IFS is worthless, and the rear doesn't do much either. No travel, no articulation, and a boat load of big and heavy. If it weren't for the dual lockers, these things wouldn't go over a curb.
