Women always love movies with cuckold husbands and sex with any other man than your husband. I think they call it chick flicks. Nothing brings out the heat in a chick quite as fast as when some married woman is fucking some dude other than her husband who is invariably billed as unresponsive or some excuse to allow women to cheer on marital infidelity. I don't mind movies like this as they remind me of most porn flicks about cheating wifes--same excuse offered in porn as chick flicks

@logomachy1 Their love was deeper then just cheating. She gave him up. She made sacrifices that basically killed her inside. Her husband knew that she didn't love him so therefore he was just as selfish because he guilt ed her into a loveless marriage. Watch the movie before you place your final judgment. Sarah struggles against God and her heart. She has remorse for what she has done. The movie is beautiful.

The movie is one of a long, long list of movies in which true love (lust) is found in the arms of any man other than their husband I don't mind as long as the sex scenes are reasonably titillating. But I am a guy and don't feel the need to dress all this up in a so called love story. Beyond this the movie was mostly banal and signaled the ending long before the ending. As for she has remorse--big deal, we get a little on the side and then feel bad about it and then get....feel bad

@logomachy1 I disagree. She made a promise to God. So when the price came true she couldn't take it lightly. And chick flicks/ romance novels are not the equivalent of porn. This movie has a credible plot. And they are not in lust the characters are in love.

The horny wife seeking sexual satisfaction with some stud because hubbie can't get it up (or some other contrived way to give the wife permission to seek sex outside the marriage) is the staple of chick flicks and porn. Infidelity is far more sexy than mere marital sex. The characters are in lust and without the hot and heavy stuff this movie would have been even more dreary. Anyway I have had my say and if you wish to tell one and all that this really was a good movie--be my guest

Fair enough. In which case I want to play the other guy in the chick flicks so I get to have sex with a long, long list of women unsatisfied in marriage and so cheating or is it finding herself or seeking love or God or--whatever it is called the role for me is the other guy in the chick flick. He is the one who gets the hot and heavy sex. After I lived it--that is getting it on with some guy's wife--I will come back and share my experiences.

Makes sense if you want to make it in romantic movies that women will buy into you want to play the other man. Sex and love and romance in chick flicks is always found in the arms of any man other than one's husbands. Cool. What bugs me is the hypocrisy. All you need do is change the gender and show some married dude fucking some chick other than his wife and all of a sudden it is not quite so romantic.
