What to do if you are about to fail a class

I'm an English major, this fall I took a Bio class that was too much for me. I should've dropped it when i had a chance, but I didn't cause I thought I could pull up a C. It hit my gpa really badly, sad to say. Spring semester I'll do better. Your advice was very helpful, thank you!
