@actionjackson9000 they drop the wheel off the road to gain a time advantage and also because a rally car steers like a boat on a tarmark rally. that keeps the steering steady so at high speeds the rally car dont snake of the road if im right if there a corner past a R4 they will use a handbrake ONLY ON TARMARK RALLY THOUGH

why do they sometimes drop the inside wheels off the road? i dont see that gaining any traction advatage... is it just to maintain a better line?
