I was 7 when I started watching this. I am 18 now. I used to imitate hyacinth and it tickled my mother to no end because I still can do it so well (I learned from her side of the family though)
you know ive never realised this before but my grandmother is so much like hyacinth. she is having all her friends over for strawberry tea at 1:00 today and i have to be the *shudder* waitress. its just so she can show me off to everyone but there not much about me to show off about.
lol she is hilarious, she is like a little girl playing house and daydreaming, constantly pretending to be someone she is not, its funny how we only get to see what she is realy like when nobody is looking :)
Does anyone know the episode where there Daddy hooks up with a strange woman and she moves in to his room, then Rose deposits some of her old unwanted ladies undies to a charity thrift shop where Hyacinth and The Councelor Neugent were both working that day, it was a busy episode.Then she needs to tend to Daddy's little problem, Elizabeth drives her to Daisy's, she tells Elizabeth to wait outside a house, she runs through alleys, klimbs fences to get to Daisy's, is it posted?

My friends mom called the elementary school to say that she could see from her windows that the jump ropes were dirty. How could she see that from an entire parking lot, street and driveway away! She also would randomly go into the school and walk up and down the aisles of classrooms and say "just looking".
Hyacinth spends the entire time the other ladies are getting the food ready just standing there in the way talking endlessly about Sheriden and making snarky comments about the preparations! - LOL!!
