@slavamoldovei yup.. a lot of artists who teach aren't really good artists themselves... This is a good beginning excercise, drawing is much more than copying from a photograph. The aspiring artist will actually find drawing more fun if you learn anatomy, light, perspective, construction.. just my opinion. But let me repeat that this video demonstrate a great BEGINNER exercise.
