ya they couldnt have interviewed two of the worse nco's if they tried...the first guy was a cook and his only job was to serve chow on time and couldnt even do that! And for the 1st sgt to actually sit there and say morale wasnt low?? In between us losing guys every month, him making us go without showers for weeks, shutting down the MWR, building his damn cop and palace (cp), id say morale couldnt have got lower. O well, in the words of our cooks, "blame it on the taliban" i guess.
This soldier, Justin, was my soldier. I was his team leader for the majority of our deployment, and on the day he died he was my driver. I was wounded in the blast and survived..........this day will be with me forever, he was one of my closet friends in the company.
