He didn't made the recipe up...He is just showing how to give a healthier twist to the recipe. There are a lot of italian restaurants in USA that serve Chicken Parmesan...this is just so you know how to do it. He is not stealling anything...lol

No. It's called Chicken Parmesan because normally the chicken is breaded, and in that breading is usually some Parmesan cheese. But although it's not literal, "Parmesan" is used mainly as a cooking method. Hence Chicken Parm, Veil Parm, Eggplant Parm...etc etc.

The only thing called "parmesan" is the original parmesan cheese.. The mozzarella is another type of cheese!!

I think the name "chicken parmesan" doesn't refer to the cheese, just to the place where it's tipical from, the city of Parma, in italy. By the way, I tried this recipe and loved it, congratulations! And I must say you have a beautiful daughter. =)
