  • Øj den er flot..haha

  • q buen mivimiento, casi como yo jajajajajaja

  • In 1999 Laudrup was voted the best foreigner in La Liga for the past 25 years, so he couldn't had been that bad. Laudrup's problem is that he was from a less glamourous and commercial time than Zidane.

  • Laudrup was perhaps the ultimate elegantier on the pitch; calling him a 'choker' misses the point completely. Laudrup clearly wasn't the greatest leader of a team, nor the most decisive player in any of the clubs he played for. And so what?. When it comes to making decisive, penetrating passes; he was probably one of the best ever - for sheer technical skill and ball control he ranks with the very best all-time.

He was a specialist; comparing him to Zidane or Maradona is pointless.

  • Michael Laudrup was a choker. Yes he had great talent, but he didn't show his full potential often enough.

  • @MrRaceRealist yes i agree. he was more talented than zidane but wont be remembered in the same light because he was a choker. shame really.

  • @AlizeCiz a choker??? a choker by definition is a someone who goes down under pressure..Laudrup won championships with every team he played for almost..hardly fitting that label. - he was very much his own man and decided when to give you his best..- which he rarely felt was needed to get the job done.a steady 80 or 90% was enough. Laudrup at 100% was/is much better than Zidane, sorry no contest! and he won the award as the best foreign player to play in la liga in the last 25 years.(ahead of Z)

  • @wendel88 Laudrup was a choker, im not reading off wikipedia and looking at his teams achievements. Platini's Juve, The Barca Dream Team and eventually Madrid were all great teams of their time. Laudrup was apart of their success but whenever he was the main man he couldn't step up to the plate, a fantastic team player but nothing more, like Ronaldinho. Thats why Cryuff bought in Romario.

  • @AlizeCiz he shouldnt be the main man he is a midtfielder..- he is not a pure attacker like Romario..you cant compare these two positions and demand the same results.- Laudrup was the reason they won in Barca, and when he left for madrid, then Madrid won that year..5 straight championships for Laudrup. With barca he also won the best player in spain 2 years in a row..and lets qoute romario then :"The best player I have ever played with was Laudrup and hes the 5th best in the history of the game"

  • 0:16 Det sagde hun også igår :)

  • Thumbs up for Laudrup, and thumps up for a great and sober youtube discussion for once.. Even Laudrups objective professionalism is contagious :)

  • What is it people don't get? It was Laudrup who made this trick!

  • Laudrup was the best ever.

  • Tror lige Per Frimann fik en fodbold orgasme! ;)

  • I even did it before Zidane as well ;) Michael forever, love him ;)

  • superb control and speed .......i have one question can u compare today's generation of footballers with the past and say whose better

  • Thing is, Laudrup made everyone else around him world class.

That's the job of a playmaker.

Pele and Maradona were better at scoring goals, sure, and if you matched them up 1vs1 with Laudrup they'd probably outdripple him, but none of them had the eyes like Laudrup. He could see every single opportunity and player on the field.

  • @ROEDERBABY maradona was a playmaker albeit in a more advanced position, and id daresay a better passer than laudrup too

this is actually quite ludicrous to compare him with the 2 greatest players of all time. Laudrup is no better than dejan savicevic, let alone pele or maradona

  • I think Maradona is the most overrated player ever. He was great obviously but very overrated. Laudrup is probably one of the most underrated at the same time. I also have to note that many people seem to bash on Zidane under Laudrup videos. Laudrup might have been better but there's no need to dis Zidane. He was also a wonderful footballer and a real master of ball-control.

  • i loved to watch zidane play football, i think he's the best of all compare to ronaldinho, messi

but when i saw this man

i think maybe zidane himself not sure that how much power that laudrup can be reach if he has chance to face laudrup in the field

    RESPECT FROM THAILAND !!!

  • laudrup the best VISCA EL MALLORCA!!!

  • The only two problems for Laudrup was his lack of selfishness and the fact he came from a small country. That makes it harder to get recognition.

True, he wasn't much of a leader, defender and could perhaps have scored more goals, but as for pure passing ability, he is impossible to surpass, not even Maradona or Cruyff outranks him in that respect.

The difference between Laudrup and Zidane was mainly that Zidane was slower paced :)

  • Laudrop was one of a kind and something special ill tell ya that...

  • Laudrup was a great player and yes Ronaldo, Zidane was maybe better but Laudrup was a team player!

  • I never get tired og watching him. He has glue on his feet! Even when i watch football today, i dont see anyone with the oversite, tecnique and passing like he had! ALL players today could still learn from watiching his matches! True gentleman and artist

  • Michael Laudrup imo was one a par with Cryuff. Genius.

One of ther best players in European football in the last fifty years.

  • is signature trick is the best trick i´ve ever seen if you play footballuse it i recomend it

  • @champen3344 Its his own fault he didnt play more than 80 percent, we can all say what could have been if and if and if. But truth is, he accomplished what he could have, he is the third best playmaker in history, behind Platini and Zidane.

  • I really don't think C. Ronaldo's passing skill is anywhere near Laudrups. Ronaldo is surely a better attacker but I think Laudrups incredible number of assists make him more valuable to a team than Ronaldo.

  • i know better than raul every one know better than raul!!

laudrop is great i watch him so many times and yes he is better than zidane he is the best play maker with totti and ronaldinho but he isn't as good as ronaldo in every thing skills passes and ever thing else .... ronaldo , madradona cruef, pele laudrop

  • rivelino did the elastico way before ronaldinho too but they still the trick ronaldinho -trick... it depends on how often and how good certain players perform one trick... and zidane perfected this trick and made it to his signature move thats y he is always associated with this trick

  • Prosinecki also did this movement in his red star belgrade days

  • GÊNIO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • This move is an old technique, a gambetta, it's very popular in Argentina and I've seen film with players from S. America in the 1930's like Leonidas and Jose Moreno and in Europe, Kubala with Barcelona in the 50's was famous for doing this as was DiStefano.

And to reinforce DaProblem's statement, Diego used this move, it can be seen at the top of his run against England in the '86WC as well as in other highlights of him.

  • correction-Gambeta

  • maradona did this way before laudrup...

  • yeah and zico before that.....and they still call it the zidane!.....wtf up with that ?

  • @fridjon83 Because Zidane was the best at doing it, and made it famous. Not because he invented it. Its not like Laudrup did it before Zidane, you have clips of Zidane as a teenager doing it. Laudrup was great, but he is no Zidane.

  • @Khaled4life Laudrup was voted the best foreign player in spain between 1974-1999.....Zidane only got voted as the best foreign player in 2002.....but still Zidane won more Individual hounors. But This is what Raúl said: "The best I have ever played with." Roberto Galia said: "I have played against Maradona, Platini and Baggio. But the player I saw do the most indescribable things was Michael Laudrup."

Romário: "The best player I have ever played with and the 5th best in the history of the game.

  • @Khaled4life Laudrup was better!!

  • b.laudrup-hagi-stoichkov-zidane-gascoigne-m.laudrup. best players ever..

  • brianlaudruprfc.. check out romanian gheorgi hagi.. more skill than most, better than almost all.. its an impossible task to pick the best

  • Hvilket hold spillede vi imod?

Which team did we played against?

  • Bulgarien i den første?

  • Skotland.

  • Okay. Hvad blev kampens resultat? Ved du det?

  • Vi vandt 2-0. Den blev spillet 24. april 1996. Det var en optaktskamp til EM 96 i England.

    M. Laudrup scorede det ene mål.

  • Ok super XD

  • Skotland / Scotland :-)

  • Sorry guys, Laudrup invented that move. Sorry, nothing to say more. Pele was the first football-star, as a player not a man with a reputation. He was the first to be individual player on the highest leve. Such as Maradona. Both of them were attackers, strikers. But players like Zidane and Laudrup were different types. That we can agree... Right? If Laudrup were french, he would be bigger than Zidane. But he is a humble person. Only received 2 yellow cards in his whole carriere.... Enuff!

  • That's ok, Laudrup did it before zidane, but Zizou, made that a move that everybody will remeber for long time, and of Course Laudrup's passes are out of this world.

  • That's just coincidence, fact is that Zidane copied Laudrups move and the media suddenly noticed..

  • Zidane copied Laudrup's move?, it could be, but Laudrup didn't use that move in the games he played, he did it 3, 4 or 5 times, but Zidane did it hundreds, obviously Zidane perfectioned the move.

  • Thats a weak comment. Laudrup did it a couple of times, and Zidane copied it, and couldn´t come up with better, and kept doing it? :)

  • That's your opinion, Zidane has done that move against: Brazil WC 2006, Juventus, At. Madrid, Inter Milan, Manchester, i'm not going to discuss about skills, just that I watched the whole 94-95 and 96 season of Laudrup in Real Madrid and he didn't make 1 of the roulette, and i'm a big Laudrup fan, so you guys don't know what you're talking.

Laudrup yes, he made it twice, but Zizou made hundreds, and better.

  • Zidane didn't perfectionize the move, it's no different from the move Laudrup did.

Just get over the fact that it's a copy as we said to begin with..

  • @NothingButFoam, do you have any facts that Zidane didn't perfectioned the move.

But what's he big deal, this isn't a common laudrup move, cause he has done it twice or 3 times, as I said Zidane made this "his" movement.

Check out Valladolid-Real Madrid when Zizou almost scored a goal doing this movement, and tell me if he didn't perfectioned the move.

Also man, Ruud Gullit has done this movement too, so what's your point?

    Laudrup didn't invented it.

  • @MadridNRoses, Yes, this video dumbass?

Do you have any prove that Gullit did the move?

He didn't make it his, he copied it alot.

There is no difference from what Laudrup did and Zidane did.

    It's just different situations.

  • @NothingButFoam, yes man i still have my VCR, and gullit did this move. so as i said.

    Laudrup didn't invented the move.

  • @MadridNRoses I agree with you.

  • I think that Laudrup ist the best player ever

  • no one ever said zidane invented that edgar davids used to do that and so did bergkamp

  • I think it's a bit redundant to be discussing who invented what. So what if Laudrup did this before Zidane and so what if Maradona did this before Laudrup. Neither player dribbling with the ball or playing the deep pass. When Ronaldinho did his amazing elastico that particular move had been around for more than 30 years - perhaps even longer. He still exited everyone when he did it and that, to me, is what it's all about.

  • and people fukin say zidane invented it lol , laudrup is better than pele and maradona , i mean to be honest if laudrup had the kinda teammates that pele and maradona had they woulda won anything , everytime i watched the danish national team play with laudrup , he creates countless chances for them but they miss and kick it over the bar

  • @amm00008 Better than Maradona?? Dude go suck ur fathers cock while he tell you stories of how greater a player Maradona was. Nobody not laudrup, Zidan, Pale, Ronaldo nor Ronaldinho can be compared to Maradona he was the football god himself.

I was 19 years old when i watched Maradona at the 1986 world cup making a fool out of everybody else nobody could take the ball from him and for his clubs he was the best player ever.

  • @grimmjowi If you were 19 back then, you should probably start acting more mature in general. You're kind of an embarrassment.

  • @ROEDERBABY Yea im an embarrassment because i know more about football than you do?? Grow up!

  • @grimmjowi No. I merely point out your immature way of typing. Read your first comment.

  • @amm00008 i know it's two years ago lol. but you know nothing about the danish team apparently. Do some research

  • Laudrup was insanely good

  • They were different players, Pele, Maradona and Laudrup, and peaked in different decades. I quote Beckenbauer: "Pele was best in the 60's, Cruyff in the 70's, Maradona in the 80's and Laudrup in the 90's". Each of them had their own trademarks, and I think it only makes sense to say, that they belong to a very small group of best players ever.

  • Very true, but I don't agree with ''Der kaizer''... Laudrup was one of the best. No doubt, but Zidane and Ronaldo was better, but this is something that I think...

  • I respect your opinion of course.

But I think you need to be at the same level as those you evaluate. Would you rather have Mozart or some guy on the street to evaluate a composer for you?

That's why I listen to Beckenbauer. And Romario for that matter, who says Laudrup is the fourth best ever. And Raul who places Laudrup above anyone he has played with including Zidane, Ronaldo, Figo etc.

  • @LaudruplLaudrup Romario says Zidane is the fourth best player ever, right behind him (which is laughauble), Pele and Maradona, and that Laudrup is number 5. Every player has their favourites, so just because Raul says he favours Laudrup over Zidane, doesnt mean Laudrup is better LOL. And that clip you have is I guess is between 1994-1996 or such, there are clips of Zidane when he was a teenager doing it while playing in cannes between 1988-1992. So get your facts right next time.

  • zidane lol

  • you just copied that off beckenbauer cuz he said that

  • @LaudruplLaudrup from about 98 to 2006 Zidane and Ronaldo ruled football...So maybe the 90's was Laudrups decade but the following belonged to those two...and also, you quote Raul and Beckenbauer in support of Laudrup, but what do other greats have to say?...That being said, I think Laudrup is fantastic and should not be forgotten in the world of football.

  • @reziboy100 .you are so wrong. 98-2006 in nowhere close ot being zidanes era. ronaldo was never the same after his injuries. zidane wasnt the best playmaker in serie a in his prime for gods sake.totti played him off the park in euro 2000,and henry, ronaldinho, nedved ,etc were the ebst players from 2002 onwards till about 07.zidane didnt deserve the award in 2003, nedved and henry deserved it more.i can go on but you get my point.zidane world class, but very overrated.

  • @987costa ok...you admitted that he is world class. so i'll take that...Maybe he's not the best. Maybe he's not better than Laudrup...I am biased because he is my favorite player :)

  • @reziboy100 .fair enogh. zidane was world class but i dont why he gets so overrated to what he was.i think its because of that game vs brasil in98 final, his only good game o the tournament.world clas and i liked watching him but i cant stand the hype that he gets.didnt deserve it.

  • @987costa I understand your point...I mean it's definately a disgrace that Michael Laudrup is not talked about as much as he should be. He is very underrated.

  • @LaudruplLaudrup My opinion is that Zidane is better. Laudrup is unbelievably talented, but Zidane just seemed to command every game that he played in. But like you said, the opinion of Raul and Beckenbauer mean way more than anything I could ever say. But it doesn't hurt to comment on this great video :)

  • It is hard to compare those players... Pele and Maradona were great as individuals, but Laudrup lifted an entire team.. He made all of his teammates better...

  • Iam a big Denmark fan and thank god for youtube - I have managed to see so many great clips of Michael Laudrup and the Danish Team.

Laudrup was one of worlds great players - just look at all the clips on him - 1st Class.

  • no he didn't :P.....

  • crap comment

  • It was Laudrup who invented " The Roulette " So please!

  • According to Raul, who played with both Zidane and Laudrup, Laudrup is the best. Do you honestly believe you know better than Raul?

  • According to Hierro Cassilas, Zidane was the Best.

Also Maldini says that the 2 best players he played against = Maradona en Zidane.

    so hush bitch

  • Zidane was good but not as good as Laudrup!!!

    Laudrup is real magic!!!

  • Zidane is a cow, ppl keep squezzing his milk.

    You wanna drink??

  • WAA

    what an azz

  • WRONG Michael Laudrup > Zidane.

  • @alibuu .lol zidane wasnt even the best playmaker in serie a in his prime you fool.learn something.

  • And Maradona did it before all of them...

  • lol maradona did not. And maradona was not as complete football player as Laudrup. Maradona could do amazing things with a ball, but most times he were not that good.

  • Yes he did im afraid mate in the 1980's, coined the 'maradona 360'. Maradona was the 2nd greatest footballer of all time and whilst Laudrup was a genius he was not on the level of Maradona.

  • you can't put these football players together. They are two very different players. Maradona was amazing in what he did, but only amazing when things when right for him, else he were a very selfish player. He didn't had the same understanding for the play as Laudrup did. Maradona were more like a artist.

  • Maradona was one of the best players in the world no doubt. But he didnt manage to break through when playing for good teams. I mean for napoli he was amazing but when he tried out for Barcelona he was average.

  • 1982 - 1984 Barcelona 58 Appearances 38 Goals by no means is that average!

  • 1982 - 1984 Barcelona 58 Appearances 38 Goals by no means is that average!

  • He was average!!!!????, get your facts strait, only on youtube you can see maradona do unbelievable things. he scored 45 goals in 33 matches. your dumb

  • Well its not the trick its self, its when and how you do it, that is amzing

  • Love it.

  • Doesn't matter who did it first. They are all kings and would probably have figured it out anyway, even if they hadn't seen another person do it before themselves... Thanks a bunch for posting, it's sheer pleasure to watch!

  • Well, yeah! he did it before Zizou, but Michael has another type of technique.

But Zidane made that move anywhere and anytime.

But Laudrup still the best for me.

    Thanks for post this!
