I love playing the medic and have more kills with that class then any other with only half the time in with them, but it's prolly because i play medic in nearly all FPS class games. Only issue is when the team doesn't seem to know how to utilize you. Heavy's, you guys can help us and yourselves by trying to get out of the line of fire when ur health is critical low, we can't keep you alive under fire when you get that low. ;)

you got the Kritz info wrong at 2:20 the best target is a demoman as each sticky does 300+ damage also the splash damage, next would be solly, splash damage, then heavy

Most battle medics aren't very helpful for their team. Don't go directly to the front and watch out you don't run into a sticky field or sniper area. If you got 95% ubercharge and your target runs into the enemy base hoping the ubercharge will be ready in time, think twice about it. Nothing more annoying than to loose your charge when you almost got 100%.

Sometime before or during the spy update, they took away the ability of being able to spycheck with the blutsauger. In doing this they also took away the ability to fill up your ubersaw on a disguised spy unless you deal the killing hit.

Ok, you're not a good medic.

"The medic's the hardest class". No it's not. It's the easiest to master.

"You have to move around and communicate". You mean like any other class? Hell, the scout focuses a lot more on movement than the medic.

"The blutsauger is only marginally better than the needle gun". After the last update the difference is smaller, but the blutsauger still wins by a colossal amount. Same damage output + up to 30hp a sec? Get real.

i have to agree 100% with you mate, i play medic constant and this guy aint that good, What he failed to mention was that if you spread an uber between two people the time it is available is halfed and across 3 it is over even faster, While he made some good points, it's not like they were rocket science, and he failed to mention what classes hunt you most as in scouts, snipers and spy's, Their is another vid on youtube like this one but explains it a lot better, anyone watching should find it

Yes. When you activate it, the medic and the patient that he is healing become invulnerable for 10 seconds. The Kritzkrieg gives your patient critical shots nonstop for 10 seconds and is signified by electricity covering your patients weapon.

Burning scouts/Spies should ALWAYS be heal priority over anything, except for hurt soldiers.

And soldier is definately the very way best medic buddy of all time. You may not regular-uber a soldier, since it's fucking useless against sentries, but he can protect you better than any heavy in the world

there are pick up games (pugs), scrimmages, and tournaments

pugs are somewhat easy to get in, if look it up, mainy the lower end of competitive players go there, but once in a while you will see the top tf2 players, most (good) frag videos are made in these games

Ah. Well I've logged hours as a medic, its my main class, and I've killed plenty of people. It may look like just a support class but you can take a few people down in a pinch. You have to be able to kill as a medic because most people will not protect you, even if you are healing them.

Blutsauger= no crits. Ubersaw= slow

You can't get crits with the blutsauger, but since a medic's priority is healing, not attacking, there really is no loss.

The downside for the Blutsauger is that it can't crit, but it does heal you 3 health for every syringe that hits.

The only downside with the Ubersaw is that it is 20% slower, but seeing how the Bonesaw is so quick it doesn't actually make a difference.

The Medic is my absolute fave class, i also love the kritzkrieg because if you are on fire and no water is anywhere you can perform a selfheal. Also (not in the video?) the kritzkrieg heals the target 20% faster than the medigun, but no selfuber so be carefull ;)

When I'm using the kritzkreig, I tend to give the buff to soldiers. I can see your point about using it on a heavy, but I always have the nagging thought "shouldn't you be using the medigun instead right now?"

You're talking about how to move and jump in order to keep from getting killed. How about you first figure out how to move and jump without falling off the bridge and having to run back up to everyone else, making your team lose valuable healing/invuln/crit time?

Medic Tip - Buff everyone around you and don't ignore your team. Several times in this video you see the medic focusing only on one teammate - don't do this.

@mahram This depends, if your charge is ready. You should switch from 2-3 teammates. Tho if you are just healing normally and your heavy is under heavy fire, you should definetly focus on him as him surviving is essential to the team.

Good video but one thing, there is a BIG difference between Blutsauger and Syring Gun you forgot to mention. You get +3 health on every hit from the Blutsauger so there's no reason to ever use the Syring Gun especially since they lowered the crit chance percentage.

The kritz can actually be transferred from person to person like an Uber, especially useful if your target dies and yous till have some left.
