There are so many 'different' vegetarians out there..what is your reason for going vegetarian? I'm going to start - my reason being I don't believe we should raise animals just to kill them, it's awful. But, what about other things? Like do you eat fish? Do you think its wrong to take milk from cows or eggs from chickens? Curious for your opinion.

I'm going to go Vegetarian soon. I am right now eating lots of veggies and shrimp.. I love shrimp.,.. every once in awhile chicken. But I'm pretty unhealthy. I'm hoping with this new lifestyle will make me become as healthy as I should be. Just looking at all the youTube videos I can for inspiration.

how do i feed my cat and dogs? how do i feed my fish? they all eat other animals.... so uh, do we kill them off so we can live off vegetables?

@bigbobboi, funny I have had 3 dogs and 5 cats for the past 20 years and they don't eat other animals either. I get the recipies and supplements from (do t) vegepet (d ot) co m by the way, and cook for them myself. It's very easy and the pets are extremely healthy and live happily. You don't sacrifice one species for another if you can help it, any more than you don't rape or murder.

@TheSeriousTruth how does your cats even get enough protein, they are meat eaters and need a higher amount of protein intact than even dogs. if you are giving soy as a replacement protein, then you are doing something wrong. how do i feed my fish without feeding then, fish.

if i had a pet shark, how would i feed it? if i had a pet cheetah how would i feed it? if i had a pet blue whale how would i feed it?

I am not vegetarian but recently I have started to eat a lot less meat. Mostly peanut butter and jelly sandwiches now lol. It is wrong how we raise animals to just be slaughtered for food. That is not how the circle of life works. We have to manipulate the system because of our population and high demand for meat. People are just used to getting what they want. If there is money to be made someone is going to continue to do it, that's the sad truth.

my dad used to live in a barn and everyday he heard a pig being picked up by his hind legs and hearing it get shot in the head. it's horrible

@knoxiscool Jeez other animals like monkeys eat their own shit, so you can just follow their example, huh? The point of having our intelligence (except in your case), is for humans to follow a higher and more educated path than the rest of the animal kingdom.
