My grandfather used to sing this song. He grew up in the US but his father was from Blaenau Ffestiniog, and had cousins from Trawsyfynydd, which I think I remember was the same area as Hedd Wyn. a great scene, shows how they love the harmony and how good they are at it, even a silly drinking song.

Thank you for posting this scene. Although "Hedd Wyn" is not yet available on DVD in the States, I have watched it on VHS. I consider it to be the best film I have ever seen about World War I.
