  • when he jumps of the cliff its because he has stage fright

  • In case anyone hasn't noticed, the key of the harp is always the key of the background music and so whenever there's a chord/bass change in the background music, the pitch of the harp changes to reflect that, that way there wouldn't be any unpleasant half steps or dissonance for the people playing the game.

  • Careful Link! You'll break a string! O__O

    *plink*

Dammit Link! Now Zelda has to get you a new one!

*kills himself to repair the harp*

  • spazz hands

  • Epic harp solo dude!

  • I AM AMAZING AT HARP

    Okay, time to kill myself

  • EPIC HARP SOLO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • the end is.... black?¿ o.o

XD i like it the control from the harp bu i think that is impossible XD

  • Bolereo of fire on the harp!!! XD

  • Look how fast his fingers move! That would be nice, in another context of sorts ;) Any girls out there feel me??

  • GUITAR HERO OF TIME AMIRITE GAIZ

  • LOL CANT TYPE LAUGHING TO HARD

  • I love the harp music, but I hate that I can't use the songs as liberally as I could the Ocarina.

  • @CaseyHink

If we could, then it would just be another Ocarina of Time remake now wouldn't it?

  • True, true. I just wish we could get a variety of different things to happen depending on how you pluck the harp...and I'm totally re-hashing your answer. Yep. *facepalm*

  • when he unsheathed his sword it was like "Yeah I can shred on a harp. COME AT ME, BRO!"

  • "master,I detect a 110% of probabilities your harp skills are badass"

  • That's how I play the harp at the Lumpy Pumpkin when I can play the harp freely at one point in this duet thing.

  • am i the only one who was a bit disappointed at the musical aspect of this game? sure you learn "songs" as you go, but you only use each one once and there is no consistent way to play them or even see what the song looks like. anybody else miss the ability to play (or howl) real songs that you can see what youre playing?

  • @shadowsa2b Yes, I am. I'm also disappointed of the music in the game in general.

There are about three tunes that are memorable AND sound good, namely the Ballad of the Goddess (which set the standards for the rest of the game quite high), the Flight music in Skyloft and Farore's Courage, which is also quite nice. Other than those... meh. I miss the beauty and magic all the predecessors' music had.

  • @TypoCandar I agree, The music is not at its best but I like Ballad of the Goddess, The Skyloft flying music, in skyloft music, in Knights Acadamy music, and Farore's Courage. I think all the other music could of been better.

  • Im sure Zelda likes those fast fingers...

  • Shit! The goron wasn't supposed to see that. (runs and jumps)

  • I love how at the end he commits suicide. just kidding, in reality that would suck.

  • Don't tell me this wasn't the first thing you did when you got the harp/lyre.

(I'm still confused on this point; the game keeps insisting it's a harp, but I think it's a lyre...)

  • You played The Song of No Value or Sense!

  • jumping off the cliff was so random

  • omg haha :D yeah! Link u rock!! xD

  • That's exactly what I when I don't how the fuck to keep the beat because of that stupid visual metronome

  • Jimmy Hendrix's got nothing on Link!!! Hahaha!!! (apologies if you're a die-hard fan lol!)

  • lol @ jump

  • Death Metal on harp?

    He found a way.

  • Now do Freebird!

  • lol

  • Am I the only one who's annoyed 'cause I can't play the lire as I want? Can't do higher or lower notes to make a determinate song...

This is a step below the ocarina :(

  • @SenshiOfSadness I believe it is an equal to the Ocarina. This instruments purpose is to play the background music instead of the melody of the song. Atleast in Links hands. This gives them the opportunity to make more complex or just plain different songs with out the player having to memorize them all. But the music is beautiful nonetheless.

  • I swear I was playing the final fantasy theme on that thing, it was awesome. :D

  • AH, after carefully listening, the harp's chords are changing along with the background music (Lanayru Desert). You have to listen carefully, and you'll see that the chords match.

  • *randomly playing harp*

    Link: .......aah, how peaceful...

    *notices the watching Youtubers*

Link: AAAAH!!*draws sword, jumps off cliff*

    me: XD

  • @JackOfSpades93

    Win.

  • I play this game running around while spamming the harp all the time.

I don't even care if I get hit.

  • God, got a regular van halen here.

  • Link played the harp...Like a boss!

  • strum very slowly and tell me thats not final fantasy

  • Epic fail at the end lolz

  • through the fire and flames >:3

  • Someone needs to practice some LOZ songs on the harp

  • @prender11

It's nearly impossible to do that because you can't really control what sounds come from the harp. It goes in a pattern of left to right and it changes every few strokes, so unless you figured out how to control the harp, it'd be impossible to learn songs on it.

  • @XHolyPuffX It's cool because it stays in key to whatever the ambient music is for that level.

  • @XHolyPuffX The notes that come from the harp correspond directly with the background music playing at the time.

    (I think that's amazing)

  • @XHolyPuffX the way the sounds work is according to the background music.

  • @XHolyPuffX Yeah, and also the scales he plays are dictated by whatever background music is playing at the time.

  • @XHolyPuffX ehm... you were fapping or something? O_o

  • @XHolyPuffX ofc you can be pro at it, just dont push "A" all the time

  • @XHolyPuffX Top Tip: The sound changes in response to the background music!

  • @XHolyPuffX well i guess he link doesnt want anyone else to reinact it cuz he jumped off the ledge. :P

  • @prender11 The tune the harp plays is synchronised with the background music of the area you're in. Playing the harp essentially adds an instrument to the music in the background, but it'll only sound good if the player can strum in time with said music.

  • 0:28 - 0:34 sounded like an actual melody

  • For a second it sounded like you were playing that harp theme where you come out of a dream! XD

  • Wow, Link sure can shread. Now I want to see him do Through the Fire and Flames! :P

  • @MathcoreShuppet *Midna From TwilightPrincsess appears*

Did you just challenge Link? HEY LINK! COME OUT HERE AND SHOW HIM WHY YOU'RE THE HERO OF HYRULE!

*Link appears with a V guitar*

    *Nods head*

    SAEEEE!!

    *starts shreading*

    XD

  • @MathcoreShuppet ^this

  • @MathcoreShuppet i wanna see him play Miles of Machines!!!

  • @MathcoreShuppet on expert :p

  • The background music sounds like Gerudo Desert.

  • @XDRichar it's the desert area of the game

  • what the fuck happened to his voice

  • @MasaBlade his voice is kinda normal but fr some reason his falling scream is so awkward

sounds like what a normal character would sound like falling, not link

  • LOL at Link's screaming voice. XD

  • @nintendolife25 I hate Link's voice in this game!!!

  • Link got MAD skills with that harp.
