How to build CVDs

I had ask on another video, what were CVDs but then I found this video, now I know. Do they come with rubber boots over the joints like on the full scale cars?

How do make cvds for a smaller vehicle. I have a mini revo and i dont want to spend 70 bucks for some cvds is there any way to make them out of other kit cvds?

i would think you could cut them then weld them

i,m new to rc, got a traxxas erevo brushless 1/10 scale, ran it about 20minutes and the rear shaft drive/cvd broke, is there a better kit or have you a video on replacing it.

You can buy CVDs. I would call Traxxas and see if they will send you a replacement kit.

it was actually the pinion in thye rear diff, the shaft broke off so I bought the kit which includes pinion and spur gear and installed both of them as it comes as a set. cheers.
