Well, PC is better at games, but gets viruses. Mac doesn't get AS MUCH viruses, but doesn't play as much games. You can get applications similar to Mac's, but cost money. Microsoft has released a free antivirus called "Microsoft Security Essentials," Mac has a free one called "iAntivirus." Macs are good for some things, while PCs are better for other things. They are both great.

It was a requirement for the program I was taking at school. I have to say now that i've learned how to operate a Mac, I would never imagine trying to do Graphic Design projects on a PC! :)
I wouldn't even necessarily say use a Mac because when I first started to use mine, it was like the bane of my existence! Lol If someone actually wanted to take the time out to learn a Mac then i believe they would then have the knowledge to compare the two :) Then they would realize it's an easier system to use, especially for Graphic work, which is what i'm doing.
Exactly, and the features it comes with shows that apple thought through every detail within their product! Like the magnetic power cord. I don't even know how many times i've tripped over my PC computer's cord and almost pulled my computer right off my desk and smashed it all over the floor! Just little things like that, that i think people should look into and take into account :)
I've used both, and while Mac seems superior due to shinier veneer, there's really a few crippling problems... like the lack of command line input (as far as I know) and no way to restore files if you accidentally delete them. Also, the GUI is a bit cumbersome and annoying.

It was a requirement for the program I was taking at school. I have to say now that i've learned how to operate a Mac, I would never imagine trying to do Graphic Design projects on a PC! :)

I wouldn't even necessarily say use a Mac because when I first started to use mine, it was like the bane of my existence! Lol If someone actually wanted to take the time out to learn a Mac then i believe they would then have the knowledge to compare the two :) Then they would realize it's an easier system to use, especially for Graphic work, which is what i'm doing.

Exactly, and the features it comes with shows that apple thought through every detail within their product! Like the magnetic power cord. I don't even know how many times i've tripped over my PC computer's cord and almost pulled my computer right off my desk and smashed it all over the floor! Just little things like that, that i think people should look into and take into account :)

I've used both, and while Mac seems superior due to shinier veneer, there's really a few crippling problems... like the lack of command line input (as far as I know) and no way to restore files if you accidentally delete them. Also, the GUI is a bit cumbersome and annoying.

lol im not very computer intelligent i just like macs better i find them easier :) everyone seems to think im dissing PC's :S i just prefer macs :P i use PC's as well :P

Everyone thinks I'm dissing macs, too, but prior to the release of the G4 cube, Macs were my favourite computers and were well worth the extra money my mother paid for it.

i lke both macs and PCs macs for surfing the internet and videos and stuff and PCs for gaming and microsoft word :P at the moment im trying to figure out how to install microsoft onto my mac for games (as ive said im not very computer smart and im afraid ill mess it up)

I've got a question to all of you american and english peolple out there. I heard words like "Scheiße" (1:45) or "Gesundheit" (2:43). Do you really use these words in your all-day-language?
I'm german and it's really interesting for me to know this (I also visit an advanced english-course). I already heard things like "Poltergeist", "Zeitgeist" or "Kraut" but never these two words... so please help me to know something more about you guys! :D

I am german. I just think it's funny, because lots of (older) germans complain about the "americanization" of our language... but if they would know that we also "germanize" your language.... xD

Hi. I'm American. Really, we don't use them that much. Maybe once a week. It depends on what you want to say because there are very many words to choose from, as I am sure there are with German.

Pc's are allot more fun then Mac's :/ I would much rather play a new game on a pc then browse images or make a podcast.

I am. Personaly i think Pc is better then mac but that's obviously a biased opinion considering i'm a pc user. Also, i use the computer for gaming so what it comes down to for what i need is a pc more then a mac.

I have both and I can say:Mac is for music,videos and non professional stuff. PC-is for professional purposes:programing and professional editing,animating and other.AND IT IS FOR GAMING.
But overall Mac and PC are both great machines

i think you got confused while typing?? macs r more for design and music and alot of professional purposes because there easier to do it on thats what they r made to do.
