Why do you spray your roots with a heath protecting spray? It's not like you're going to iron the roots of your hair...you can't reach those or you'll get burned.

Thats is why your hair is healthy. Because you use leave in conditioner. As soon as I purchased my infusium leave in, i stopped getting any split ends. I have oily hair but my hair will get oily anyway and detangler will not cut it at all ( I used tresemme) it is expensive but worth it to invest in leave in CONDITIONER. BTW i have an FHI.

or you can use rubbing alcohol but make sure your iron is completely cool.

I like my hair stick straight. i have had almost every straightener, and chi's are only 60% ceramic (idk how to spell it :( , haha ) but yeah, so they burn your hair, i just got rid of all my chi's i got a new brand that is 100% ceremic they sell these for about $190 - $300 , but there are good deals where they can be about $100 if you just ask the people for a better deal, much better quality than chi.
