people are so ignorant its funny. You think its easy to set up the elections with all the new regulations of the new constitution? Many things have to be set up and many people have to be educated to the new set up and how to run it. Elections is not just about putting votes into boxes and counting them anymore. Watu waende shule!!! Stop proving your stupidity and ignorance
I don't know what's sadder, the ignorance of my countrymen or the fact that even the press find it so difficult to explain a simple ruling. Look, the constitution says that elections should be held after the term of the sitting parliament expires (5 yrs). In this instance, that happens to be early next year. The alternative given is that elections may be held when parliament is dissolved by the president before the 5 years are up. Because we are governed by a coalition, that means that if the c
this is just retarded. fuck kenya and most politicians. Am not coming back to that country. man we are so behind, the U.S. still sticks to election dates that were set over a century ago yet kenya keeps fucking up with most kenyans. I feel sorry for my cucu.
@jimsyhot Wow thats the most ignorant shit i have ever heard from a kenyan the reason why our country is so behind is because of moi he generally messed up our country and he is there sometimes behind the scenes pulling the strings. By you saying your not coming back will be your loss i also live in the usa im waiting for the election season be over so i can go back home and make millions. how can Kenya be great if we selfishly stay in diaspora and we don't return with the knowledge we learn.
@jimsyhot i know what you are scared of dude. go back please mungiki will not force you to get--------- i remember you confessing in one clip that you are not cut.
Everyone must sacrifice something but our thug MPs are hell bend to make sure only the rest of kenya sacrifices but not them in any way.Lifetime kitu gani?If it is working for those extra months without pay hell will break loose.Selfish.
Once again the new constitution is rendered toothless. The judiciary has placed it second to the two so called principles. Has the judiciary collaborated with both or one of them? A tug of war between the two is in the offing. With both having interests in the next leadership kenyans shud brace 4 another gigantic face-off. Throw in the Hague issue and u can see what is at stake. Someone would like to hold back the election date in the hope "some" of the hague 6 will be cleared in time.........
Wait a minute! What does the constitution say about the elections date? Does it offer more than one date such that the courts have to interpret and iron out the conflict? I got a copy and it says August. I always suspected they hold something completely different to what they gave us to read and vote for during the referendum. Kila mtu atafaint were the courts to avail their copy of the constitution. Walai!
This was the problem of kenyans voting for this thing they are calling new bull shit!!!!!!!does this country belong to kibaki and raila?????????????????????????????????,
Holding August elections should not neccesarily mean dissolving bunge.Parly shud serve a fixed term including election date. This allows time for proper handover, selection of new officers or a 2nd round election if no proper winner emerges especially for Prezz.
kenyans! be calm patient.i think the country needs to move cautiously.during a difficult time of war and economic stress .it is for the good of the country to wait before breaking parliament!
The country has been thrown into confusion by this decision. How would a court that is expected to interpret the constitution throw the country in a limbo? This needs to be appealed ASAP?
