This style is very neat and unique....As a practitioner of Kung Fu AND belly dance, it's really fascinating. I don't know if it's my computer, however, but at times the dancers seem to respond to the drum sounds a tad too late. I'd know, hitting such odd beats is very difficult at times...

hm, I think it would be better to call it experimental or avantgarde-ethno physical theatre performance including

some elements of oriental dance or something like that.

To call something like that belly dance could

lead to disorientations and missunderstandings :)

Does Kiki do any instructional Dvd's or are there any really good instrucional dvd's for chinese fusion? It's on the top of my list to learn and there are absolutely no instructors in my area for it. Can anyone help me?

I still haven't heard of any instructional DVDs, but I'd recommend taking Classical Chinese lessons and fusing what you learn with tribal dance. Learning by observation is sometimes enough too, if you can learn by watching. Good luck! :)
