  • I live in the Azores. Every day we have earthquakes, most of them we dont fell.

  • You nailed it again thebarcaroller, your forecast was above the rest.

  • Good Job! This is very important technical info. I will Start comparing our models.

On Sept 1, I uploaded the first closeups of Elenin.

  • hi we are havin quite an active day here in christchurch do you have any updates

  • @100caseyrose I have been watching you guys for a month or more you seem to have more seismic activity there than anywhere else on the planet

  • 4.3 magnitude Indonesia 2011/08/30--- off east coast of honshu Japan 4.7 magnitude 2011/08/30

  • 6.8 magnitude - Banda Sea, i dont know where the hell this is,and 5.3-5.1-5.0 - Vanuatu island for 2011/08/30 alone. check out USGS.GOV for the latest earthquake worlwide for the past 7 days.

  • SO MUCH FOR DOOMSDAY: Comet Elenin (C/2010 X1), widely known for inaccurate reports of its threat to Earth, appears to be breaking apart. Observations by amateur astronomer Michael Mattiazzo of Castlemaine, Australia show a rapid dimming and elongation of the comet's nucleus akin to that of Comet LINEAR (C/1999 S4), which also disintegrated when it approached the sun in 2000. Comets are fragile objects, so this development while unexpected comes as no surprise.

  • Lets hope so!

  • Loving your forecasts! Things are getting a little busy here in the Ryukyu's, feeling alot more activity than usual that doesnt seem to be registering on USGS or JMA's websites (Rumbling, slight jolting etc)...but a few of the larger ones in the region have been listed. (Hopefully this isnt a precursor, its been almost a year since the last 6+mag quake) Its been quiet here for sometime...hopefully this 8+ forecast wont effect our region...keep up the good work!

  • @usmcnic84 volcanic activity is a releasing of built up pressure and heat from deep with-in the earth, so having the volcano erupt on the 28th at Sakurajima could have prevented a large earthquake from being manifested.

  • Hi I am on the west coast of the U.S. We are listening to your information and it is vital. Please include us in your studies and predictions.. A few of us are awake! I have been researching this exact corelation between magnetic anomolies and earthquakes. WOW there is concrete evidence to support this..Thank you so much.

  • Thanks again, I enjoyed the last solar max coverage on the net ,but this time around its really nice to have someone like you report the real weather! The sun is the primary energy source that runs our solar system and planetary weather, and if your gonna study stars, may as well study the brightest one! Should be a great year for skywatchers! NO fear NO worries just be glad your here to see whatever happens, just be prepared and enjoy!

  • wow my friends on Açores gonna die?!! :(

  • how the fuck does this work?? its only august 29th, and it says it ends on september 2nd...... ITS NOT SEPTEMBER YET!!!!!!!!

  • @lilgalpop That's why it's a prediction fuck face, we all have a subconscious for a reason...Next time allow your inner self to explain it to you.

  • mener i have a question is gonna be an earthquake in aruba we had some muve here . yesterday and today but saturday was stronger than today im so scare i heard many things on news this morning and it is not helping. i think its the firts time it hapen on island if yu have some imfo that could help il be so thanks for that ... sory about my english.

  • @rivergod21 big far-side eruption, not earth bound or directed.

  • Hey man love your work, watch the Trolls they will be after you soon, you hit the truth too often. Have you seen the HUGE CME's spat out today by the sun??

  • ther might be something goin on around the pacific ocean? ( clue )

  • Thanks for your post -- do you have your stats -- how many correct and incorrect hits? --

  • Great job!

  • Thank you for making these. <3

  • Thank you so much

  • Thank you!

  • Thank you for keeping us up to speed peace and love. cherry.

  • Hi Joe--I live in Florida, which is essentially a large reef. It is not known for having earthquakes (more for being in a sea-level challenged position) so I wonder, what effects do you see from the current plate movement, alignments, solar activity, could effect our area? Thanks--Julie

  • Thanks for the update!

  • Check out the green off the coast of Virginia! I am from Virginia and that is a little freaky considering we just had that rare 5.8 and that hurricane is going directly into that green region!

  • @puttincomputers you can compare that to his video for Aug. 23-27 to see what it looked like before the EQ at time 6:33, it's very interesting.

  • @mytreasurechess hmmm.... very interesting!

  • thank you for your work!

  • from bangkok - good heads up! thnx

  • Hello, Thebarcaroller,

    Thanks for your information.

Can you tell me what "OLR" means?

  • @Chatlein "OLR" is Outgoing Longwave Radiation

Description: Pentad (5-day average, centered on date shown) outgoing longwave radiation as observed by polar-orbiting satellite. Negative values imply increased cloudiness and enhanced likliehood of precipitation. Positive anomalies imply decreased cloudiness/precipitation. The relationship between OLR anomaly and precipitation is most reliable in tropical regions.

  • @thebarcaroller, thanks for your answer.

Sorry for my ignorance in these subjects, but, then, how do you relate this information with the earthquake possibilities? I'm trying to understand this sentence that is in the description: "OLR anomaly indicates areas that could receive a significant earthquake are Honshu Japan, Queen Charlotte Region Canada, Guam, Mariana Islands, Azores Islands Regions."

  • @thebarcaroller , in fact it has been cloudy and rainy in Portugal since yesterday, including Azores, mainly in the area of the 5.4 earthquake (Flores and Corvo islands), according to the meteorology office.

    Congratulations for your work. :)

  • cheers 4 sharing this info

  • I live in Portugal and it would be very interesting to see a plus 8 magnitude earthquake in here, thought i live up on the north, i have been waiting for this opportunity to see how much impact a seismic event of that magnitude can create in my country which isnt prepared at all

  • @XFallingDeeper4U you won't find it so "interesting" if it happens to your home town and your loved ones the way the 6.3 did here in Christchurch. Have a bit of compassion!

  • @kiwifoster7 it would be hard for it to happen on my own hometown and yes i do have compassion for people i just think it would be interesting to see what damage it could do to my country because we need to invest in our infrastructure. if in spain a 5.1 knocked soo many buildings in portugal a plus 8 magnitude would be devastating.

  • So Japan is at risk of M8+ earthquake again from all 3 elements you suggested.. I hope it won't be the case this time..

  • Thx for sharing.

  • @whiteshadow247 thank you

  • Thank you! Curious as to your thoughts--There was just a 4.6 mag EQ in Central California on the San Andreas fault...seems a bit larger than the usual pattern of smaller quakes...a 3.6 mag followed it shortly thereafter. Could this be a foreshock to a potential larger EQ?

  • @ctruth333 yes California could be in line for a larger event, i thought other regions were at more risk this time frame, but this latest activity is a little worrying and cause for some concern i agree with you.

  • @thebarcaroller Interesting response; thank you! I highly appreciate your time and knowledge! Not sure what you feel about dreams; but, just for sharing's sake, I'm one of those people that have dreams that bring messages that do come to pass/or manifest physically. Not long ago, I had a dream where I was given a direct message regarding CA. Also, just prior to the major EQ in Japan, I experienced warning dreams along with an intense EQ premonition, which I had never before experienced.

  • Very Intelligent! Thank you for your time. :)

  • hope it's Japan region they are more prepared than we are

  • @thebarcaroller

The region we speak of has been having extremely deep quakes all this year. A recent core sample report shows massive folds of earth in that region going hundreds if miles downward like taffy folds.

I'm not into the global glacier thing for the most part, more so, as I'm more into following magnetic pole shift and resonance indicators that pattern along specific lat / long numbers.

Im hoping you are spot on again like always with your views.

  • Thank you so much....

  • @Redpaw2011 Galapagos Triple Junction under the Panama/Guatemala region is starting to show an indication of activity due to glacial melt and magma push. The pressure in this area is growing significantly.

  • Thank you for this informative update! Your expertise is appreciated!

  • Thank you !

  • Amazing report.

Had you noticed that colorado, Virginia, Honshu, etna, Spain, and san Francisco have all had activity on the 37th latitude?

I'm also watching the southern 37th lat which shows a few areas hit by quakes this year.

I'm deeply concerned as you point out, about Panama & Guatemala. I see separation of central America and the seas joining. Horrific as I speak it, but that trench is going to rip.

    Thoughts?

  • Great job as always!!!

  • great work thank you
