This is a beautiful song that personifies the futility of war. I apologise if I offend but I believe in world peace and I think that is what this song is aimed at!
Beautiful song! I loved it when I was young and had it on an old 45 record. I haven't heard it in probably 25 years or so.....but still remembered most of the words! Thank you for posting! It brings back many memories!
i am a 50 year old man that has long hair drives a ford truck i wear levis 501 and size 13 rattle snake boots, i have wife a girlfriend and misstress and a dog i own 3 houses (all underwater)plus the best looking grandkids ever born, but most of all i have my freedom, thank god for the united states military for with out the armed forces of this nation i would have nothing on behalf of a greatfull citizen thanks for the post
From an old 55.6 yo military retiree, the song is great, Our men and women that "Stay the Course" make us all proud to have served. Retired in 96, and I wish I could stand again with the younger ones today. My journey is done, but thank God those still CHOOSE to serve !!!
I've loved this song since it came out, I've never put it to the updated motif you have with this montage, it's beautiful and so are you for posting it especially to those of us that tasted war.
THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH I APPRECIATE FOR SHARING THIS WONDERFUL SONG AND VIDEO.LOVE,CARE AND PRAYERS TO ALL MY MILITARY RELATIVES AND MILITARY SOLDIERS. WARM REGARDS, SWEDEN
As a retired Officer from the USMC I thank you for this video but ask you to pray for our young people serving today because they are the true heroes!
@celtichero9 I couldn't have said it better. We take our freedom for granted, but many times we forget that freedom was purchased with the blood, and sacrifice of our heroes. Thanks for your commitment to duty. That sacrifice should not be forgotten. Thanks for your service.
Very beautifully done & Thank you!
