I heard this game isn't great, but from what I see this does have an amazing character creation system. Other MMO's in development should start taking notes. This is as good as the Sims when it comes to character creation systems. More MMO's should have something like this.

Love those many options to create your character, i hate having characters looking the same :x not unique while the story usually always says that they need YOU as a hero so having some1 with the same looking character as me wont make me feel any special.. >_> besides it's alot of fun to create it ;D can spend hours on it to make it as perfect as possible.

At the moment, now on December 19, 2010, the Aion character creation is a bit broken, when you use the sliders to change the features, the face keeps dissapearing, which is very irritating if you want to make precise changes...Hope they will fix it soon.

When you move the sliders to change the features of a character's face, the face will dissapear/reappear (ie. flicker on and off).

A number people are also reporting the same problem on the official Aion messageboards.

According to NCSoft, the bug is known of and they are working on a fix......

I have no idea why you don't have the bug yourself, maybe it has to do with some graphic card drivers, who shall know?

The developers put 90% of their efforts into "blowing away" new players (resulting in lopsided reviews and initial reactions) and 10% of their effort into actually keeping the game fun.

Basically, the AWESOME character creation and leveling experience from 1-15 is all you need from Aion, there's no point in going any further. If you're ready for a retarded grind, you can try pushing to lvl 25 for some Abyss PvP (i.e. get slaughtered).
