Two Handed Katana Machete

What is the handle made of?

I used a powerfile (a great tool if you are into blades...) to sharpen mine all round, now its more like a double-edged short sword: for the money you just cant go wrong! I find it cuts well enough, of course not as well a genuine katana but come on, who would be dumb enough to think that it would?

It looks like a plastic toy. I think that is why you have been getting negative feedback on this. Perhaps if you showed how it performed the comments might be more positive, unless of course, it didn't function well at all.

I have serious doubts about its practical use. Especially fo said 47$. You actually do not need to apply such a power (of two hands) to use machete. Normally, you swing classical machete in you hand. In case you will grip it stronly, will be totally exhausted in the end of you chopping-day.

Looks like a toy for people, that like all Japanese. :) And ColdSteel is perfectly using it. I would rather buy Tramontina machete for 10$.

@sae1095hc You would be surprised at the things you can do with a longer handle. I have a well made katana with a longer than normal handle, and it handles like a dream.
