  • lol aww so cute hes misses you so much :) my beagle just sleeps when were gone

  • That's so cute the dog misses its owners..... and its bored lol

  • Common, give me a break! But.....now that I think, perhaps I could edit the video and make it a bit scary! Hmmmmmm, food for thought! Still, over the years, there have been a least a few that have complained about this video. Hard to believe, but true. Maybe I should just leave it alone!

    :)

  • Am I the only one who muted it cause I thought there was going to be a pop out scary things going to happen? YOUTUBE!!! YOU HAVE ME SO PARANOID!

  • That was super cute...esp when she was on top of the crate....snoopy! lol. She just must have been lonely hey? But its still funny in a strange way lol

  • yet another beagle with separation anxiety! Ours has it too

  • Awwww---she was so bored & lonely!! She missed her humans!!

  • Very funny, I always wonder what my beagle does when I'm not at home. I should try catching it on tape.

  • yeah my begle used to howl when I went to work . he has seperation issues . LOL must bea beagle thing .

  • I like how she got on her crate at one point.

  • i thought this was very cute and your dog is pretty good.. didnt tear up anything!

  • Yep-she continues to be a wonderful dog. Her current challenge is learning to live with two, new kittens!

I've gotten a number of responses over the years on this-most positive...although out of the ~150K responses I've gotten 2-3 that indicated displeasure. I never bothered to respond, as these folks know nothing about me-or the love my family shows our dog (I was actually close to becoming a vet-and worked for a vet for years). We love our dog-and she is tops!

  • @sbgospe haha I love watching how dogs re-act to cats. Luckily I have never encountered a bad experience. It's obvious you love your dog. You recorded him and look he has 2 mats to layo n ;]. I work at a vet and completely understand. Not to mention people get bored and post mean things just to upset others.

  • Can you please make a tutorial of how you teach your dog to teleport.

  • @MikeO2jam

You simply need a video camera that you can set to take only a few pictures every so often-I did this over a period of several hours. When you play it back, all at once, it covers a long period of time in only a few seconds. This is called "time lapse" photography.

    Steve

  • @MikeO2jam omg I'm choking on water I laughed so hard.

  • Aww...poor lonely beagle...

  • This is so cute. I MISS MY OWNERS/FRIENDS!!

  • OMG!! my husband and I laughed and laughed. We love the "beegies" We had our wonderful beagle Jena for almost 15 years and we just lost her last month. If we get another love it will probably be a beagel. Thanks for the laugh!!

  • my dogs would howl when i was gone , pissed the neibors off

  • your dog is struggling and suffering

  • Snoopy moment at 0:22

  • My beagle also does not touch food or water until someone is home.

  • I laughed so hard when he got on top of his home.

  • owwww i gut a beagle interesting

  • If you listen to the audio, there is clearly someone in the house at 0:14...

  • Thanks for uploading this!! :)

  • This made me so sad, I'm relieved she doesn't do it anymore. I actually got a 2nd beagle because my 1st one was so crazy and impossible to tire out. The last thing I wanted was another dog, but I never regretted it. She was a miracle in many ways.

  • I have one beagle. A lot of people only have one beagle. Why do people keep saying you should have 2 because they are pack dogs? Aren't all dogs pack animals? I would think two beagles would get into double mischief. My dog would hate another dog in the house. She doesn't like other dogs.

  • @northie66 I only had 1 beagle as well.. honestly, they are easier to control and train as a single dog, also, you don't need a pack for hunting, and if you give them attention atleast 1ce per day they are always happy. My dog (Lexi) was smart for a beagle, she even carried her food bowl (with food in it) in her box out of the rain lol..

  • po there pop here pop ROOF

  • That was dumb!

  • Hahahahahhaah best bit when the beagles on the roof lol

  • 0:09 LOL

  • I think the set up you have created for your beagle is fine. I would get a great big stuffed animal for her, my beagle Casey loves her big bear, check her out on youtube title: rutgers vs louisville starring casey

  • lolz

  • I had Beagles for most of my life, and this is easy to solve. They should always have another dog. It doesn't have to be a Beagle, but you can raise three as easy as one. They are social, pack-bred dogs, and that is in their nature. Also, lots of exercise is key, off the leash in the field or woods if possible. Train them in the environment they are created to work in, and you will have a more well-adjusted and well trained hound. I'm glad she grew out of it, she is beautiful!

  • he is so cute! <3

  • Guys-first, thanks for all of the mostly positive input on this video! I very rarely comment on what others have posted, but please: be nice to each other (and I"m referring to all negative posts/comments since the beginning of this posting)! As for our dog, she did this as a puppy-years ago (4 years ago, actually). She is well over this-and is a very much loved member of our family. This video was simply meant to be fun, not to stir up all kinds of bad feelings...

    Thanks,

    Steve

  • I'm not pretending that im the best dog person in the world. i had a dog with a problem and i chose to do something about it. you obviously know there's an element of truth in what im saying otherwise you wouldnt get so defensive. Showing dogs doesnt actually make you an expert on your breed but if you think it does, thanks, i also show and breed beagles. Everyones dogs have problems, just do something about it instead of acting like it doesnt matter...

  • that's not too bad, my husky chews up everything.

  • She want you to come hoooooommmmmmee.

    Lol, standing on the house.

  • sounds like the dog was worried about its owners poor pooch

  • My bichon (killed by a raccoon 2 months ago) used to do that when my parents weren't home. She'd make this whining, howling, groaning voice like I've never heard from her when she knows people are listening. And when I walked in, she'd stop abruptly and wag her tail a lot as though embarrassed. Come to think of it, I took a video. Maybe I should put it on here... not as cool as a teleporting dog though, so it won't get many views.

  • Thats separation anxiety. Usually pretty easy to cure.

  • i wanted to see his reaction when you walked in the door :_(

  • I can guarantee this dog doesnt get enough exercise and was not exercised before you left.

  • @eCoverSource more likely , yes.

give your dog a good blast before leaving him and he will kip,

    common sense really.

  • BAD PEOPLE

  • Dog's are high maintenance, get a BIG cat instead!

  • its called seperation anxitey, your dog don't want to be alone

  • One of my dogs does something similar when my parents are out of the house. One time I walked into our dinning room to see her sitting on the table looking out the sliding glass door waiting for them.

  • funny man!

  • @Kolashov fail.

  • coitado

  • TELEPORT XDDD

  • Dude, this was hilarious.. Yet, I'd be bored as shit as well. Put some music on or get him another doggy companion!

  • I wonder if mine does that, too!!! LOL....And I like the teleporting stuff!!!LOL!!

  • ugh reminds me of my beagle, everytime i go to school, he howls.

  • Wow- some of your use YouTube for writing essays!

  • I hate people that write long comments!

  • Beagles are pack animals... Get two or three!

  • @judeannpra i have a beagle and trust me you only need one!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 1 beagle is like 3 labs or watever they are so hyper

  • Beagles have notorious separation anxiety disorder-if I go and get the mail and he sees me leave oh wow-his crying and howling is Oscar worthy. He just loves being with me ALL the time, not a bad thing-can't say that for everyone I've ever met.

  • @gravelandgrain100 the fact that your dogs seperation anxiety is that severe that he's stressed by you going to get the mail IS a bad thing....don't think your a good owner just because your dog wants to be with you 24/7

  • @blamordercollies -

did I say my dog's anxiety ? did I loser? I said my beagles anxiety, look it up anywhere Einstein-beagles have the worst separation anxiety of any dog breed. You know I see by comments in the last year-I ran into you on another dog video making empty remarks to other people. Enjoy the video or get stuffed, you bore and make me dry. Blaaah.

  • @gravelandgrain100 Last time i checked a Beagles WAS a dog and i'm pretty sure that, unless you were held at gunpoint, you had a choice in what breed of dog to have, in hind sight maybe you should have gone with something a little less high maintainance.

  • @blamordercollies -

there must not be enough room on this planet for your big head and obnoxious self-admiration for your wondrous dog raising skills. Man, the dog whisperer must duct tape his dick to himself when you walk by every day. You make me sick, you must think your perfect canine skills translate to every part of you life.

Cause you don't know me or my history with the breed. My parents, aunt and uncle showed dogs at shows. I know what comes with a beagle.

  • @gravelandgrain100 I actually have 5 Beagles, i think i might know a bit about the breed-thanks, we've had 4 of them from puppies, none of these have any seperation anxiety, the 5th is a rescue and he came with seperation anxiety, we've had him 4 months and with a little work he's over it. Maybe you should go and spend some time helping your dog get over this issue rather than accept that its just a fact of owning a Beagle, its not, stop using your dogs genetics as an excuse.

  • switch the TV on with cartoon channel, it will be fine

  • lol 0:23

  • great!

  • 0:23 jajaja hes a funnny dude.. he feels lonely :(

  • It makes me wonder what mine does when I'm at work. Luckily, he only whines when I'm around when he wants attention and only howls when stranger walk by the patio.

But you should see what he's done to my couch.

  • haha i love it when she suddenly ends up on top of the kennel!

  • lol we have a beagle, but he only howls when he is hurt

  • We have four beagles now. learned not to take hubby to get dog food on Sundays. Rescue dogs always there and if there is beagle it is coming home with us. I tried to video response, but u can take a look a our pack. They are happy.

  • poor dog he thinks you are gone for good. beagles are pack animals they need company. get another one for company. this is torture for your little dog.

  • Our dog has separation anxiety too. He only cries when mom goes to work; now that he is old, he falls asleep and doesn't realize mom has left until 4 hour later haha. Even if my dad or I stay in the room with him he still howls XD

  • Most work schedules are 8 hours and travel most owneres are gone from the home 9 - 10 hours at a time.

My beagle sleeps most of the time.

  • lol so cute!!!!!and so lonely

  • He shouldn't have been left alone that long.

  • 8 hours is an acceptable time to leave a dog....i wouldnt go longer than that but i mean most people work for 8 hours a day so they have no choice to leave a dog that long..

  • Lag! D;

  • kinda like my dog when i first bought him

  • AWESOme :9

  • poor neighbors!!

  • they get so lonesome!

  • Poor baby! Mine howls a lot, too, when he's left alone... Which we rarely do.

  • OMG! When she was on top of the crate I almost fell out of my chair laughing! Very cute!

  • I MEAN 0:8

  • HAHA 0:10

  • I laughed so hard when it showed the dog on top of the cage...hahahaha

  • you have a teleporting dog also! cool

  • ROFL!!!

  • mine was a golden retriever and shy barked like a beagle because when she was young one lived across the road

  • lol i'd laugh if he peed

  • how did he get up on that crate? XD

  • I have 2 beagle puppies. They are 5 months old now. We have a fenced yard with a doggie door to the house, but it is too risky to leave them home alone with that much freedom. They could get stolen, or find something to destroy. We keep them in a large crate during the day, but come home for lunch to let them out and play with them.

When they are 9 months, we may try to see how they do with the run of the house and yard.

  • I've had my beagle for 11 years now, she does this exact same thing every time I leave. She will do it even if I go upstairs and leave her downstairs for a few minutes. Its like she just wants to be where she can at least see you............too cute!

  • poor beagle, nothing cool to do xD

  • My 11 month old girl beagle Peanut was left alone in the crate for 10 hours 3 PM to 1AM. I have no idea if she cried or howled while we were gone! She did seem calm and happy when we got home. It didn't look like she tried to escape, but we did find pee. Can't blame her :P

  • May I suggest the following: Get your dog a companion: another dog!!! (or even a cat that is compatible!) And, maybe leave some soothing classical music playing softly. And maybe put some continuous 'doggy tv videos' on for him. Or, have someone DOG SIT with him! Or, bring him to DOGGY DAYCARE! Or, get him a human to visit and take him for walks! Or, cut your work hours to part-time. Doggies need attention and love!!!!

  • I said the same to my couple, we need another dog for make companion to our Beagle.

  • @earthalien77 thats what i do with my beagle

  • @earthalien77 you are crazy

  • @nickmallaire Why thank you! Just love all doggies!!!

  • @earthalien77 i agree with u my dad works with dogs and the one and only thing they need is someone that can be there for them like another dog or cat or human :) try it ull see the results will be good

  • @earthalien77 Well maybe they're in a situation where that is impossible. Say they might live in a apartment that allows only one pet, or they need the work hours because of this bad economy. Besides, the dog looked well taken care of. And also the description said they were skiing and gone for 8 hours. The dog isn't starving for love, the dog will be fine.

  • @earthalien77 indeed.-

  • She/he must have beebn very happy when you got back home^^

  • damn im drunk watchin this and it almost made me puke, i wonder if my dog does this when were out.

  • Lol

  • Wow, 8 hours alone! Can you say SEPARATION ANXIETY and LONELINESS? Poor pup! I hope he had access to the outside so he could go....

  • Poor little thing! He just wants his humans!

  • Poor dog, he's so desperate for some company.

    Beagles hate being confined.

  • my people doesnt really mind being confined but if shes alone with no one there she goes crazy

  • lawlz mine ate dry wall too

  • my beagle ate the dry wall

  • My sister's beagle used to be much worse. She dug through the carpet a couple of times, got her head stuck between the bars on a metal crate, chewed up doors and caused other damage.

  • poor begeal, it probly wanted someone to play with

  • SEPARATION ANXIETY!! :D

  • without the howling probally the same

  • Haha Our beagle would probably do the same thing. Actually she would start ripping everything apart.

  • wow your dog has bad separation anxiety! my beagle likes to tear up the FLOOR when left at other peoples houses... loved how he jumped at the camera hah

  • My beagle used to do this and my neighbors started complaining about the barking but I was able to fix this easily...1) walk you dog before you go out so he's tired 2) leave the radio on to soft music or talk radio 3) leave him toys like a kong with peanut butter or a busy buddy toy 4) ignore your dog 30 mins before you actually leave...after awhile, your dog wont bark and it will just play with its toys and sleep

  • Read the description.

they couldn't take their dog with them when they went SKIING.

it's not like they do it all the time.

  • Comment removed

  • wow shut the fuck up...what are they suppose to do...i guess when people get a dog they should think oh well we might have to leave the dog alone for 8 hours were better off not gettin one..think before u speak u stupid shit

  • Comment removed

  • haha i guarentee my house coat a helluva lot more than yours...provided u live in one...and second your still a stupid bitch, people can leave their dogs alone while they go on a trip, there fine...your such a stupid white trash whore...but at least you and your dog will be happy, cause no man will ever be with u...haha

  • I love when she or he gets on top of the crate..lol..that was cute!

  • oh wow your lucky i have a beagle and when im gone (to school) there always somthing chew or ripped up always so we had to get him a cage but it was all the time

  • beagles says: I"M BOARDED

  • come on dude,! at least give her a mirror

  • Our beagle is the exact same..! Tho after about 50 minutes she does go to sleep...! xx

  • he. she just seems bored as shit.

  • Actually my beagle is different than most. She only howls when I am going out to let her out or if she wants to be fed. My last one didnt even bark that much. She had issues though

  • heartbreaking

  • My beagle howls all the time when I love, love her to death though!

  • beagles sure are needy! They like their humans and are upset when left alone. They get lonely so easily!

  • Man, that dog loves you a lot! For myself, I love a beagle howl; I love animal voices. But I noticed that there were excerpts of howls the whole time...what do your neighbors say? Hopefully they have kids or dogs of their own...

My husband and I like to go skiing or just somewhere occasionally; we set up all sorts of stuff like you did for our cats and budgies...

(cage chained to wall so it can't be tipped over;))

  • When i first got my own beagle i had the same concern.

But turns out my neighbor is a very kind but deaf-mute elder woman and the other neighbors are a house full of men that go to work the whole day. so i have no worries =]]

  • lol

  • Makes me think I should videotape my beagle Baxter. I'm convinced he does nothing more than sleep while we're gone, but maybe not?!

  • sad and pathetic!!! i don't call mine bitchin beagle for nothing!!! baroooooooooooo!!!!

  • Classic beagle anxiety.. they hate to be alone... its one of the saddest things in the world.. it really is

  • lol when the dog jumps at camera had to see it twice cus it happens so fast

  • that broke my heart, poor thing, it seems to miss u so bad

  • how sad

  • She might have separation anxiety. o.O

  • Lol, it misses you

  • wtf? :21. that's not how you use a crate lol. nice vid. MAGIC DOG TELEPORTS!!!!!

  • Oh...i wish i was there playing with her! =(

  • soo funny when she was on the crate lol

  • She is a 14" beagle. She is actually about 5 years old now. She was about 3 when this was filmed. That sound is probably just after she jumped and her feet hitting the floor. The camera probably just came on as her feet hit the ground. Not sure what you mean by your last comment....

  • The dog jumped up in front of the camera. lol

  • Ahhhh. She was lonely.

  • Well, set up a video camera and you can find out for sure!!!

    :)

  • My dog is part Beagle and part Bassett. The only times I ever really heard him was when it would be really late and I am just about to fall asleep. Suddenly, I would hear him barking to want out. So, I would let him out then bring him back in when he was done. Then again I would be starting to fall asleep and he would bark again usually for one of the following three. Food, water, or to just hear himself bark and annoy me.

  • I of course cant know this for a fact, but when my dog stays home alone, he usually cries for about 5mins and then goes to lie down on my bed and sleeps for the time that were gone

  • Love this video. What equipment did you need to set this up?

  • they never stop...she drive me
