  • HE has always been great. Unfortunately like so many other great guitarist, there is no melody in this song. It's a bunch of fast scales. I think if he would lay down a melody and then expand on it would have been great. A really outstanding guitarist would have brought you into the music they were creating instead of dazzeling you with how fast they can play.

  • this is how good you can get when you sacrifice and spend hours upon hours as a child, learning to master the art!

  • イングヴェイのブルースをtabに出来るわけねえだろwイングヴェイのウマさを得ようとしてtabを見るのは逆効果w

  • He does not do blues any justice. He's excellent at Neo classical shred and that's it. He's a one trick pony. He is NOT diversified! I don't like this at all.

  • @licksnkicks

LOL! You sound like a simpleton!!

Yngwie is a awesome blues player!!

Yngwie's vibrato, melodies, arpeggio's etc... are all top notch!! Yngwie is more than just shredding, he is a great musician!!

  • @epic103 and you sir are an idiot! I never said that he wasn't a great musician. Shredding doesn't belong in blues playing. If you were smart you would of known that! Like as if BB shreds. NOT!

  • @licksnkicks

1st. Thanks for calling me sir.

    2nd. You're full of it!!

  • @epic103 I have heard better blues players that play 3 string guitars and have crippled hands. I'll take your word on his technical guitars skills... but I suggest taking others opinions here; Yngwie is not much of a blues guitar player.

  • @GrandMasterKolbasa

    1st. I doubt it!!!

2nd. You don't have to take my word for it on his technical skills, just use your ears!! Obviously Yngwie is a great guitarist!!

3rd. Yngwie plays the blues his way, it's neo-classical blues!! Even though Yngwie isn't a blues player, he uses elements of blues in his playing!!

4th. Remember, when Yngwie was young he started out as more of a traditional blues/rock guitarist, then later in his development incorporated more classical phrasing.

  • @epic103 Neo-classical blues? My farts have more elements of blues music than Mangway Springsteen's technical shredding.

  • @GrandMasterKolbasa

You sound dopey. You're a complete imbecile!!

  • @epic103 You sound like a frustrated gay man that idolizes "Guitar Gods" with long hair and tight pants. Shred on!!

I am going to listen to some real blues. Over and out.

  • @GrandMasterKolbasa

    Yeah, you do that!! LOL

    You're a simpleton!!

  • Thanks you!!!! So glad someone uploaded this.

  • That´s the only and the right way for playing the blues !! Yngwie is a GOD !!

  • See, this is what I don't get.

Yes, Malmsteen has very good technique, probably among the top 5 ever lived, and I applaud him for that, but I simply don't feel his music. Its one thing to shred the guitar, playing a zillion bpm. A whole other ballgame for making MUSIC and especially (imo) for playing the blues.

This wasn't a cover, it was a rape...

  • @RockySeven7 To be honest , im not a fan of malmsteen and much of what you say is true. But personally, i was very impressed by malmsteens playing, the phrasing was top notch and i clicked on this video expecting him to have butchered the blues but i was surprised to have watched the oppisite

  • @RockySeven7 Spot on. Blues isn't about the notes you play, but what each note means. Malmsteem has great technique, but I hate this. It's just "hey. Let's take some cool blues licks, but take out ALL the rhythm."

  • who says playing fast cant have feeling

  • who wanna play like him? if so, you need the best teacher! ask me :)

  • Oh myy dear god !! you're to great, damn I have searched for that every time !!!

by the way that is the lenningrad dvd ? isn't it ? and are there more tabs ?

  • this is RED HOUSE by hendrix... check it out

  • Is it E or A MELODIC minor?

  • @Hoshang2 Yngwie is playing in Ab Dorian/Blues. Remember that he lowers the tuning of his guitar down one half step. But the tablature is for standard tuning.
