  • Thrilling. Stunning.

  • Fleming can be mannered in German as well; listen to her Madelin in the Capriccio. The voice is so beautiful that I want to yell at her to just sing sing and forget all that jazz crap and pop you have sung. I am hoping that the Capriccio from the Met will be an improvement over her earlier Paris Opera production.

  • Fleming can be (not always is) almost unbearably mannered in the Italian repertoire (which is what she gets stick for), but when singing Korngold, Strauss and to a degree Mozart, she is simply stunningly, stunningly beautiful. Her Korngold and Strauss especially are amazing. Beautiful. Perfect. Really outstanding.

  • She takes a lot of negative criticism for some reason, but I only hear how truly beautiful her voice is. I think Korngold would have tears of joy hearing how she caresses his music.

  • voce angelica...non mi viene altra definizione!!!! voto 9.

  • Korngold is not played enough in the great opera houses.

  • Merci!

  • Are you joking? She sounds fantastic as usual.
