sa-weet! i didnt even think it would be possible to ride a fixie in a bowl this well. keep showing up pussy bmxers who cant peddle while they do their tricks! and all those haters are not even worth your time.
the difference is... the "pussy" bmxers actually do tricks. don't get me wrong, i ride fixed, but it's a disposition like this that perpetuates negative relationships between two different groups of people who love riding their bikes.
absolutely brutal. please stop before you get unnecessarily hurt, because your stupid pedals wont stop spinning. honestly, making evolution work backwards is not a good idea.
You look like a circus chimpanzee. Really. You look ridiculous. Just look at yourself.
Fixies are for retarded idiots with the thought capability of a circus chimp because they do not have the brain capability and comprehension of the advantages of coasting on a bicycle.
You people look silly and are fucking dumb and too ignorant to realize it yourselves.
Is this a joke? If i saw this in my skatepark, id piss myself silly with laughter. You look constipated. Stop pretending, ride BMX in a skatepark. Stop ruining fixie riding, take it to the streets.
people who ride fixed gears are trailblazers. hahah people who are quick to jump on trends were the same people walking around with faux hawks a few years ago. develeop a sense of self. adopt chidren not styles.
hey whats with this hate rollerbladers i single spedd and im a blader i just finished building my latest bike and me and my friends are into riding round on them nd stuff rollerbladers did nothing to u i prefer blading to biking but im not mean to bikers ( unless they bmx). you should be hating skateboarders they are the root of all evil
easy brosef, does ur dad ride fixed to work? if so, thats pretty dope. yes, we know there are different bikes out there. we like these. multi purpose, commute, trick, race, etc. in regards to the seatpost, in the bowls, shorter is better, trust me, and my nuts, we know a lil somethin bout bikes. now, go hate some rollerbladers
its not just bmx riders, its every other kind of rider. We just dont see the point in fixie's when the same shit can be done on bikes allready preped for the job!
finally. I've seen the response i've been giving for the last year. Having a bike that can keep up with rush hour traffic and still be recreationally fun while keeping a simple slick aesthetic
Well there you go, I don't see the point in so many people having an MTB on the road, but I don't shout my opinion at them, they wanna do it, fine, I let them get on with it, I suggest you do the same.
Surely you could just get wider tyres, lower the pressures or get a suspension seatpost, or just ride around them, with so many people riding fixies in cities, do you actually think they're all completely wrong?
oh no, i would never say that. I mean if some one choose's to do something that is their choice, and i would never say that person is wrong for doing so. Im just saying, for a park use a bmx or a dj, for dh use a dh, for road racing i use my racer(road bike) for tricks and stuff use a trials bike. their are bikes made for everything, i just dont see why some one would modify a bike to do something when their are bikes allready made to do it.
I still have my road bike but it's never really used since I got my fixie, fixie is a lot lighter which makes it more fun to ride around on, plus there's a lot less maintinence to take care of, which is a big plus esecially coming into the winter, on that point, fixie's are much safer in the wet/snow because you can feel how much traction you have as your feet are directly linked to the rear wheel.
but to say their beter in the snow is abit enthusiastic, i have a set of stud's for my dh, the snow feels lik ethe dirt with them on, also have a set of dt's witch are amazing in the snow. But like you say, you can feel everything on a fixie (like a trails) but the fixie is like you say "cheaper to run", and yes i'v had a go and found it quiet fun.
now someone has finaly given me a propa reason for owning one, i can see why you do.
Oh cool, you must be one of those road guys who are all into high tech innovations in cycling. That's cool, in which case I have a suggestion for you: power cranks. Look into 'em.
This looks fun, sort of. But isn't the whole point of bowls that you don't need to pedal or push or anything because you can pump? Pedaling just gets in the way.
Just noticed this was uploaded '07
Wayyy before fixed gear was "trendy"...
And mostly when people only rode them in velodromes. Which kind of makes sense how this dudes enjoying himself so much at the skatepark.
