put a dampen rotate on the ship object so it turns as a percentage of the camera rot. Looking great so far.

Here is an idea add an orbit camera so you can look around the ship to see enemies and the envoirment that would mke for an awesome game :)

Very cool stuff man! The controls seem smooth and the graphics are awesome!
