  • I like this pilates the best my friends swore i had bitt implants after like 2 months of this... it make it easier to move on to yoga too

    You're right, she does rush through that second part .... I also had this on VHS ... I did it every day for a month, and it made an incredible difference for me :)

  • hi, like me I had the original DVD of this workout but lent it to a friend and never got it back. thanks so much for putting it up on U-Tube, it is a great workout that gets results :-)

  • it video is amazing, i also have the dvd but i lend it to a friend and it got ruined. im not the workout type and im very lazy but since i start winsors pilates it made a difference within a week. this guy i was dating left for a weekend and then i starting doing pilates while he was gone and when he came back he was like "wow your body got tighter looks like you been working out"

  • hi, okay so it sounds like none of you have stuck to this routine too long BUT I have. I've been using it for five years. When I first made the purchase I lost 20 lbs in 3 months. It's a super easy work out especially if you're lazy. I stopped doing pilates while studying as an undergrad and immediately got heavy. I was terribly discouraged going from very thin to a little chunky and picked up pilates again. The weight fell off of me. It works, it works, it works!!!

  • great! thanks for putting this up. i have this DVD but i am often out of town on business and don't want to carry the DVD with me. having this on youtube makes it possible to follow this exercise even in a hotel room.

    why?

    it's painful while doing it and i don't feel a think after a day. ususally sit ups make my stomach hurt when even laugh.

    what's wrong with me?

  • You're body and muscles aren't used to it yet.. :) But if you continue it will get better :)

  • well pilates molds your body shape, its really cool do it, i just love pilates is the best work out to do if you want to have a beatiful body ;)

  • yeah ! stick to it and really try to master the moves. i've always been really lazy when it comes to working out, but the difference in posture and body shape has made me want to follow this routine religiously. i've been doing it for about 3 months now and i almost have my bikini body for summer !!

  • but since stopping months ago, I have noticed a HUGE change. I have gained weight and my muscles are much softer. There's pockets of fat I am noticing, I never really had that before, I was tight, long, lean and had great tone. Now, I've gotten a bit marshmallowy I feel, and I've lost a lot of my tone all from stopping pilates. So, it's back to Mari Winsor for me! It's worth buying the videos, trust me.

  • I love this lady! I ordered this from the infomercial forever ago and it's still the best pilates video I've found. Seriously, I can vouch for this cuz I got out of my pilates routine. I thought I wasn't really getting results after a few years and also, there was the big switch to DVDs and of course I owned the VCRs, so I ended up getting rid of them. I keep meaning to buy the DVD versions

  • yes I have. the results are just like she says - longer, leaner, stonger muscles and its great for posture too

  • So you did this 3 times a day 5 days a week? Wow! What kind of results did you get? I mean did you get better posture or did you lose any weight. :) Did you also change your diet? How long have you been doing this workout? Sry that im asking this much questions, im just curious! :D

  • 1x a day for 1 hr almost every day of the week for ~6 months and I lost weight, got nice muscles (tight/sexy butt, ripped abs, slimmer legs), phenomenal posture (I was really conscious when walking - felt like a model), my LOW BACK PAIN had disappeared. I eat healthy for the most part of my diet, but sugar is my weakness, so I cut down almost entirely on desert and...voila! People started asking me if I work out, cuz I looked great :)

    I was never fat, but had gained ~15lb soon after reaching 30

  • so I was sayin', after reaching 30 my metabolism had slowed down but my sugar intake didn't :D And I wasn't working out at all. Couple of pounds later I realized that if I am not doing something I might become really fat in the next years. That's how I purchased my pilates dvd and become a fan. Today workout is part of my life...doing different things though, keeping results up. Good luck to you!

  • Wow sounds great! Yeah, im not really that overweight either, actually im normal weight but i would like to get a better posture and better abs. I hate jogging and walking so I love pilates and aerobic. :D

  • yeah, I work out 7 days a week for an hour every time, I do this and another Pilates DVD. I have only been doing it for about 2 months. I have had good results. It's the only thing that works for me because lunges don't.

  • really? I did Mari's workout once (i usually do cardio/weight training 3-5 times per week) and the next time my body was screaming! lol
