We took this specific piece to BOA in Atlanta and the echo from the three measures before drained Almost all the sound from the woodwind feature....

I have yet to listen to band who has been able to properly execute the Woodwind Feature. I've listened to things like a duet, a version where the bass drums earned themselves a feature, and in some cases pure silence. Such a shame :(

@DaphneChicken Drum Corps tend not to play actual written shows they take pieces of music from different creators and combine and mix them to create one fantastic show, so the chances of that happening are small. Hope this helps.

@AVerbene Typical trumpet player, also are you dumb? That's called DCI Drum Corps, which you'll probably never make. Get real, maybe in your crappy marching band, but in a well balanced marching band such as Ronald Reagan it's perfectly fine. Or if you want check out Folsom, or Granite Bay they're all perfectly balanced and sound wonderful.

We played this three years ago, Absolutely the best show I have ever marched and by far one of the best high school marching shows ever. I played sax for this piece and all I can say is that the woodwind run is a bitch to play a marked tempo memorized but its awesome as hell when you get it. you can see the Lee's Summit North marching band play this by searching "LSN marching Band". this is an awesome show!!!
