  • Great job! We are playing this for concert I can't wait! Great job clarinet!

  • whoots bass clarinets+ contrabass clarinet ftw! ★ hehehe XD

  • Our second band played this song for uil but were in middle school so not even half as good as u guys

  • Is this the North Central high school in Indiana? If so, good luck at state finals tomorrow!!

  • Wow, amazing...

we played this song at music fest (which is a across Canada competition between high school bands) and we aren't nearly as good...

don't get me wrong our band won gold, but still.

    You guys are incredible.

  • god i love the trombone 1 part

  • Woohoo Male flute players!!! Im not alone!! :) haha

  • We are playing this song tonight for our winter concert. Our trumpets suck, but when we had the day concert they actually sounded OK. O_o

  • @GothicAnimeRay Haha, we just performed this song last night at our local music festival, our trumpets weren't any good at it either :P

  • Trumpets are way too loud at part B, other people like the flutes have the melody at that part and I heard nothing of flutes.

  • Amazing. Love the ending. Our band is doing this song for ur wnter concert. Hope we can sound this good

  • so many bass clarinets!!!! :D bass clarinets ftw.

  • is that a double bass i see

  • @flameking01 nope

  • @fryBASS wat it isnt

  • @fryBASS yea it is to the right

  • Nice

  • @ part B, the snare wasn't loud enough.

Like, the snare should lead the crescendo and then the rest of the band follows and should be louder than the snare.

I couldn't hear the trills in the clarinets, especially, at the last 3 bars before the end...

Plus, the parts after the crescendo were too loud, some parts are marked pianissimo, so yea.

And, personally, I think the conductor is going wayyyyy too fast.

    It feels rushed to me.

But the overall tone and balance was pretty good.

  • ** Piano, not pianissimo xD

  • dammit i meant PIANO

  • could have been more piana... got too loud and stayed loud. my band has this same effing problem too. good job flutes.

  • the dynamics could've been a touch better. the tempo was pretty steady though.

  • its just my opinion but, this song is easy to play =P

  • but still good job guys, sounds awsome

  • @comiccrazyman i agree with you

  • @comiccrazyman

the notes might be but the dynamics are a bit hard if i remember from last year

    but yea, it was easy

  • I'm on my brothers youtube account (Don't tell him), but I am working on this piece for Noblesville band.

  • im in this performance on euphonium

  • thats a really big band for starters lol and i love your dynamics but i think that the clarinets need to be lowder in the first part but otherwise they are amazing and sometimes you speed the tempo up then slow it down something that the clarinets also did but oh well lol

  • "lowder" is not a word. louder is though. as far as temp fluctuation, that is just interpretaion. we follow the conductor.

  • the contrabass clarinet is so cool i wish my school had one

  • ok the snare drummer needs to balance his buzz rolls.....even...its a crecindo not a mp

  • its actually crescendo if you speak english.

  • yeah i didnt know how to spell it
