  • You can run that tight line on just about any shot pattern though.

  • 32ft??? i'd probably do a straight ball....

  • haha at 32 ft.. I'd be standing ten board right throwing ten board left.... I'm left handed for anyone wanting to call me a dipshit or whatever.

  • christ those lanes are dry

  • welcome to european lane conditions :P

32 ft. patterns no strangers in europe :P

  • Nice shooting, I personally hate the outside line but you seem to have it pretty well nailed. The only problem I saw were a few light and flat shots when you changed your loft a bit.

  • your correct about that loft but i'm working hard to get rid of it and i'll be posting soon a new vid with my new style

  • hahah, i cant go over the first arrow for crap, but i stand near the middle, throw my ebonite tornado out and rev the ball, i sanded the finish so i get my roll, i like how hard it hits, i never tryed playing the first, it would be hard to get used too though, im always throwing it out

  • i love the outside line. i dont like to get to far left of the middle dot. i just crank up th e ball speed and kill the wrist. like norm duke and wrw jr does. the carry is the best from out there in my opinion

  • oh god i hate the outside lane...

  • In the last few weeks I've been practicing the 1st arrow shot with my Cherry Vibe! I love the shot so much because no one else in my league can effectively play out there so I look even cooler when I can :D

It's also really nice how the pins just explode with that angle and speed. I've found that I have great pin carry out there.

Anyway, very nice bowling. I love seeing the Cherry Vibe used, no matter what line it's being played with!

  • Thanks for your comment :-) I don't train on typical house shot so most of the time i play on patterns posted on Kegel site and the short patterns that's the spot where you have to bowl (near the gutter) so you got to be versatille (ueh probebly written wrong :-) )to bowl well on those patterns. I'll be posting soon a vid me playing in a diffrent bowling on the cheetah pattern with brunswick balls.

  • I'm going to enter a PBA Experience League next year. Hopefully my experience outside will be able to help me there.

I'm also excited for your next video. My favorite company is Brunswick (even though I love the Cherry Vibe). I think that'll be a really cool video!

  • I'm sure it will help you cause if you can't play that outside line and you need to play on shorter patterns it's freaking difficult. I'll post the vid this week :) me playing straight 4-5the board and second part of the vid me playing 6-7the board towards the gutter 1st 2de board. I hope you like that aswell

  • i hate those twister pins haha

  • sometimes i love them but sometimes i hate them lol

  • I am right handed and that is how our house shot is it's really weird i roll the ball with many revs and i play the same spot you do. I just like to amp up the speed. but then when you get too fast you leave the corner pin and it's like bitch haha anyways nice shooting.

  • Thanks man but i realy need to work hard and train this shot alot cause te be realy consistante and also under pressure this shit is realy realy hard

  • verry overlooked skill to have. bowlers who cant do this will get crushed on these shorter patterns.

  • It's a skill you need if you want to play with the big boys, they all play those diffrent shots. Cause they run into so many diffrent lanepatterns on worldchampionship, europeanchampionships and those special tournements with oh so difficult patterns. Those guys throw 250-260 average on houseshots lol

  • nice 1 dude

  • thanks man

  • You have a nice, really consistent throw on the outside line.

A friend of mine also throws the outside line (we usually bowl on bad, dry conditions), but has a lot of problems keeping it hooking to the inside without throwing it in the gutter.

    He uses a Columbia Momentum.

We're kinda' beginners, so i encourage him to use a different line, but seems to prefer this one. (he's also a lefty)

I use a Ebonite NVS and a Brunswick Power Groove reactive for shots with less hook.

    (We're from Holland)

  • shim to win

  • hey man, were those shots on a house shot? because it looked like you switched to a weaker ball to move a little outside. i just wanted to know if it was a sport pattern or house pattern.

  • it's on a sportpattern and it's all been thrown with thesame ball "cherry vibe" of hammer

  • nice job on the outside. still you have 3 or 4 boards left. looking good. wish you well on the sportsprogram.

  • thanks man ya i need to train some more on that line cause it's realy difficult for me. Thanks for the comment

  • dude you know how you keep leaving one pin try a heaver ball to get more pin action

  • lmao you're funny

  • He leaves one pin because he is not facing up with the pocket properly, Happens with 12 pound balls, Happens with 16 pound balls, It doesnt matter.

  • Another bit of advice here-> I recently went to a clinic that included Brian Voss and Mike Machuga. One bit of advice that they gave me was to keep my trail leg on the ground, and not in the air. They said it will help me a lot with my balance. I've noticed that so far it has. Maybe it will help you too.

  • Btw, you say u cant throw it to the gutter and hit the pocket during short oiling. Well, try playing the same style and stand at the same place but try looking 5 feet further instead of tightening your angle. Keep moving 5 feet until you get the perfect line. Try to roll the ball to the exit point then to throw it. =) Just my 2cents advise

  • thanks for your advice i'll try that

  • It seems you are into Storm and Hammer. Thought off Brunswick? (Hehehe Brunswick Bowler here) Anyway great bowling. Your rev angle is strong and powerful. I like the fact that you are quite consistent with the line you are playing. Anyway, keep up the good work and cheer up man, you will hit a 300 soon =p

  • i'm training myself to bowl outside lines again to... last time i bowled a outside line in a tournament i went front 8 gutter:(... so i didnt touch the outside line for ages.... ooooo and its a cherry vibe as well *thumbs up*

  • i can't throw it to the gutter on short and let it hit the pocket like a truck but when i go somewhere i can't play my A game i need something that i still can score when it's realy realy difficult so that outside line is old school :)

  • What kind of pattern was that? Shark? Chameleon?

  • hmmm 2be honest i don't know, we asked for the cheetah but he programmed his machine wrong so i don't know what it was but my gues is Viper but i'm not sure. Cheetah and shark not that's for sure cause cheetah i would have better finish and shark my ball would skid from front to back on that line. My gues is " Viper "

  • i stand in the middle for that line, and ball layout semi aggressive, pearl coverstock, straight release. IS THAT A NEW BALL?!?! if it's a storm ball, it looks like thunderstruck pearl, i have that ball on order. i picked up the spitfire last saturday, SKID TO THE FLIP! good bowling, greetings from USA

  • haha, my bad, the first time i watched video i didn't notice the first screen, you went from storm to hammer, wow =/

  • i wanted a ball for shortsportpatterns but the tropical isn't a good ball i heard so i first wanted a Crossfire Saturn or a neptune but they didn't got those in stock and i should have waited 3-4 months b4 i got one :s damn

  • you could've gotten a thunderstruck pearl. that's kinda what happened to me too, i told scott the agent was hooking too much in dry, it's not a dry ball i know, but i shined it extra for more skid, that's why i got the spitfire with less aggressive layout, i was gonna get the roto grip (made by storm) neptune too, but had to order and my sport league already started so.....GOOD BOWLING!

  • i also wanted roto grip neptune or saturn but this is belgium man i had to wait 3-4months for it can you believe that?

  • holy shit man, that is a very long time....is storm/roto grip popular out by you? storm's a great company and i know there getting to be worldwide....anyways, it looks like your bowling changed a little bit, you make any positive adjustments with your release or something? looks different from earlier videos....

  • Storm is popular, roto grip not so. They get worldwide but the company here in belgium don't ship to many of thesame ball else they got to much stock and stock is money also when so many new balls come out what will they do with the stock cause people allways want the new ons. On that outside line if i come around it i got nothing so i realy need to stay behind the ball. You like it?

  • well, like i said before, i don't play your spot on the approach, i stand in the middle. as for the release, i stay behind the ball too, but because i'm standing in the middle, i let the layout and core do the come back for me. by the way, i love your bowling because you know what works for you, that's what makes a good bowler.

  • and i say that to everyone who asks me "what should i do about______?" i say, "anyone can look good at the foul line and shoot 400 series, if that. it's all about the adjustments and how consistant you can create them. you can look like PBA and SUCK!"

  • i just ordered the neptune...ill get it in 3 days ill tell ya how it is..

  • Nice strikes. Wish I could do that. Any instructional films ? Make some. Put them on Youtube.
