All I know is that the gal that cuts my hair is from Iran and she told me that she was almost hauled away by the police because part of her hair came out from under her hijab and she didn't even know it. She told me that this was the final straw for her and she fled Iran to the U.S. She doesn't wear a hijab here. She left Iran in the 80's.

Noone should tell a woman how to dress. If a woman wants to cover up. I say let her cover up. And if she wants to dress in a bikini or like a Sports Illustrated model i say go for it . But thats the thing muslim women don't have a choice. If you are a muslim women you have to dress like that every day!! if you are a non-muslim women though you would have the choice of wearing a muslim outfit and then wearing jeans, shirt another day. I do respect all women and thats why i needed to say that. Although your trying to be nice and theres nothing that anyone can do that isnt their business- we shouldnt try and make ourselves feel better by deluding ourselves.
