hmm, you guys do realize that if you were in a choir contest, which without the beat in the background, you basically are. If you were being judged you would have gotten some of the most awful ranks. Also " still goin" for when he holds the note out is just for bob and tom to laugh their asses off. If you werent so flat you would be much better, i do think its a good video though. Just the singing needs more effort

Oh dear... I think it's a really great effort, and I applaud these guys for taking so much time to make and edit this video and learn the music (cause really, it must have taken a ton of time)... but oh, there are some issues with singing the right pitches.

I think you are missing the point. This is a fan video. What you're saying is like, "The Beatles did a better version of 'Come Together' than my High School Marching Band."

Of course DVN's version is way better, they are the professionals and the originals.

The harmonies are sometimes a bit off, BIG DEAL! The visuals are amazingly well crafted, choreographed and edited, especially for a fan video! Bravo Eric Bramlett and Community Christian Church! Now do "The Captain's Wife's Lament!"

I don't think so... "Pretentious" is a perfectly normal word. No reason not to use it if whoever's writing it thinks it's appropriate. Whether it was appropriate up for debate, of course :-P

Also, did anybody catch the rearrangement? The best joke in this song is "Modulation and I hold a high note," because it's so stylistically typical. (When I first heard the song, that line had me hysterical on the floor.)

In this recording, though, they DON'T MODULATE!! Whose idea was that!?

ehh... it was a fair performance... its true, Da Vinci's Notebook is probably the best recording/ performance of the song and everyone else wont be able to deliver the same way....

For those of you saying this is brilliant, I don't think you know the original group. This song is by Da Vinci's notebook, and they do a *much* better job at this, which isn't surprising, because it is their song. This group copied them, even down to the hand motions the lead does on "turn back time" and "reptition of the title of the song".
