Im 18 and a mod and have been for the last 7 years as i spent my life trying to fit in to groups and finally i found were my heart truley is in northen soul R&B and the mod life, then i come on here and see these arguments between the people we are supost to be together with and it makes me sick. I know i havent been into this kinda thing for long but i look up to the older mods and i dont see why we cant lisen to one of the best songs made and not ruin this page with shit.

documenting where the northern sound/style drew its influences from .There is nothing Northern about this track, it may have influenced the Northern sound but so did uptempo R&B. Sad that you have to quote from books and compilation CDs (many of which are notoriously erroneous in there discography and history btw) to try and make your point, I never claimed to know ALL about NS, but I know what IS + what ISNT! this is R&B/Soul.

nice one Lee! Im only 20 but av been raised on Northern, R&B, Jazz Funk, Rare Groove, all my life! but there is a serious dearth of young & nu people coming to them. Sorry to say, but its people like Mister "keeping the faith" that keep a lot of new blood coming through. His whole pious tone is just sickening! How on earth will he scene grow and survive with artifacts like him around? like Andrea says we'll be dancing when he's stuck at hoe with his memories and his ovaltine! SHARE the Faith!
