Jesus, people, what's with the gay underwater modelling and euro-trash dance music with the guy that sounds like a host from a crime show? It's just fishing!!!
This looks like a good video, but I can't see what is happening during the animations because it is only 240p and the Youtube video compression just makes a muddy mess of the graphics. Is there a 360 or 480p version?
Looks like a steelhead. Must be from great lakes area. They're fishing in a bass boat. LOL. NE fisherman are so weird. Come to the NW and see how it's done.
@fresno93703 sounds like ur not catching to many trout and by the looks of it your an uneducated redneck.. if its over 18 inch im'a grill that there son of a bitch... haha your soo cooll... to bad if i kept every trout i caught this year over 18inches id have HUNDREDS OF LBS OF MEAT IN THE FREEZER.. these guys prolly catch 20 fish like this a day... good thing there arent too many retarded hill jacks like you around here yet
maybe!? I've never caught a huge steelhead-they might be different.
But sometimes it's better to let the big one go so it can spawn,- and save the yearling's (10-14 inchers)for your meal.-just an observation ..I moved from Western NY to NE. ohio and w/ the water's the way they are have always been told" the big one's might be tainted from being everywhere +being older= not so tasty" .just a thought/opinion once in a while I'll keep a nice one lol -easier to fillet and ha! make for good pl8 prese
@OldSchoolball94 The smaller ones below 16 inches are much better to eat. However, there's another reason to let the big ones go. If you keep good genetics in the water there will be continuous reproduction of nice fish and better fishing in the future. People who feel compelled to keep everything they catch get on my nerves but there is one good thing about them. They want to keep everything because they usually don't catch much due to the fact that they suck at angling.
Please tell me why. I don't know much about fishing, but I heard on survivor man that most cattlemen who work the front ranges always carry a flyrod incase they are lost.
I was wondering if this was because you catch fish quicker and easier with flyrod VS. spinning reels, or was the equipment simply easier to transport while on horseback?
Plus: I need to learn the fastest way to land fish because for now I suck.
fly-fishing requires no additional skill, fly-casting does. Anyway, if you want to catch fish with relatively no skill, no clue and no desire, or passion, stick with the powerbait and worms. fly-casting is not always about the fish, they are just a bonus. does it take practice? yes, but all the good things in life take effort or everybody would be doing it.
i dont know man whether u are nymphing or dry fy fishing the drift is a very important part of it so i wouldnt say that only casting matters. plus theyre is the aquatic entemological expertise needed to know what flies to use
@seismicrob2956 you are fucking stupid.. i have seen people using hand tied flies that looked HORRIBLE nothing like ANY NYMPH or fly around .>AND still KILL the TROUT...
you are clearly so smart that you analyze what nymph pods are on each river... while the trout are so stupid that they will literally take orange beads tied onto a size 10 hook.... these fish have brains the size of a ping pong ballor smaller... there easy to catch ive caughtover 40 in a day 3 to four straight days....
@ibanez860 you do not have one single video posted, your opinions are invalid and im not even sure if you belong on youtube, better check out the trerms of use asshole... anyway, i guess that clears up any questions about your desireless passionless, skillesss and lazyness issues
@dirtTdude you are fucking retarded..... drift fishing isnt as simple as it seems.. if you fish with bait under a bobber it doesnt make you desireless passionless or skillesss... you should fuck off because your the only one here jerking his own chain.. i guarantee i could hammer HUNNNNNDREDS of trout every year while ur jerking off using ur flies
@ibanez860 actually, yeah... Fishing with a worm under a bobber does in fact make you personally desireless passionless, skilless and lazy.... theoretically I could out fish your worms with poison or dynamite by using your bizar logic and that would make me a better fisherman *rolling eyes* besides, i doubt you have the capacity to understand that fly fishing is not always about the fish
@dirtTdude just because you drift with a bobber doesnt mean your using worms underneathe it... and also have fun analyzing what flies are hatching on the river IN THE FALL TIME wen fish are still at the mouth stretch of the stream in the deep 10 foot holes that you cant fly fish.... In the fall the fish are still fresh and not spawned out laying on gravel beds where assholes like you can spot fish them off and act like ur pros..... im sorry but just because you drift doesnt make u desireless
Flyfishing gives a new kind of feeling, If you use a dry fly, Just to see the fish jump up. Gives you somekind of rush, that makes you just wanna do it over and over. The rod gives you a better chance to feel the fish, so you got a harder fight too. If, you go for trout.
I love it, Stopped with Reel fishing after 1 month.
