I love watching Big Sam live. Luckily he seems to have made Austin his second home and has a show here about once every 3 months. My only complaint is that the set list is almost identical every time he plays, and he always plays that "Everybody get down" song, and let me tell you, it's not so easy to squat down in a jam packed club when you're 6'4"!

I hear you on that! Well at least you know what you're getting when he comes into town although it's always nice when an artist flips the script and gives you something a bit different...either way they're still a great band to go see.

This cat is the REAL deal...I love seeing him play...mind you this set started at 3am and we walk out of the joint at 6...he didn't stop playing for 3 straight hours....
