  • thanks for posting

i had no idea what the second tune was until then

swarb plays a tune called skopje on the album but ive not been able to discover it elsewhere or find the music

do you know if it has another name?

a google search of skopje brings up a town in macedonia!

    its a mystery

  • Very nice, thank you for this post, kept my feet taping!

  • great one !

much appreciated that you shared the tabs as well :)

    thanks !

  • Bravo

  • Good job! You can really play!

  • good job mate, briliant!

  • That was brilliant. I am just trying to learn to play the mandolin myself. I too have been a fan of Dave Swarbrick and have the LP Rags Reels and Airs as well as a number of Ian Campbell Folk Group albums. You match his playing, something I aspire to myself though I doubt I shall ever be that good.

  • well played

iwish someone could post the original track the first track from rags reels and airs With Swarb double tracking with himself mandolin and fiddle , a great arrangement with loads of grace notes this is a classic ,must hear example of Swarb at his best

    anyone agree?

  • That's a great track. I ply a bit of fiddle, but not enough to do that! To post the original, of course, is illegal... :-)
