You are missing a piece, that's why it's spacking. you have / | \ |_| / \ | \| and you should have /_| \ |_| / \ | \| a horizontal section makes the top left a rigid right angle triangle. Please sort this out, coz i'd love to see a fully working version in gmod! nice implemetation anyway :)
i agree, but being a computer program, he may have just fixated the /| parts together and left out the _ part for simplicity, it would still work, so long as its rigid. also i think it's spacking coz he's running one motor at a time, alternating, using some controls or something
Correct. Added that extra beam would be a pain to do (if you look at how it's built, you will see why) and it adds nothing to the structure. atleast, not in garry's mod.
no he has it correctly you just cant visualy see it because of the welds. its spazzing out because of source's poor physics engine only offers flimsy joints. He has the two uper left peices welded together.
