do yuu know about the using alcohol method? might want to try that as well its less hassle then the butning and all that im sure the smell is wretched.

I think I'd ruin all my shadows if I tried to depot them! Argh! BTW what shadow are you wearing on your eyes?

MAC Store Policy states that to receive your free eyeshadow, lipstick, or lipgloss you must return 6 containters in their ORIGINAL FORM!! Therefore you must include the metal tin with the plastic containers or they WILL NOT take them back. So just hang on to the empty plastic pots until you are done with the eyeshadow tin.

Not here in where I live! they take them back all the time! I have returned over a hundred of them?

i work for MAC. you can return the case without that part that holds the shadow in it. i returned them all the time before i worked for them (we can't recycle once you're in the company). we take everything pretty much besides the pencils you sharpen if they are over halfway used.

oh and to get your choice of shadow, lipstick, or gloss, you have to go to the stores. the counters only give you the free lipstick option when you have your 6!

I work for MAC Pro and you should check more recent memos then, because it has to be in its original form, MAC does not take back burned out pots. Then customers could get 2 for 1. However, not all stores follow policy.

be careful about breathing in fumes from melting plastic and glue, can be very toxic and poisonous.
