The problem I have with these type of films dealing with the nature of evil is:

do ancient demons really have nothing better to do than inhabit the bodies/minds of teenage girls? And, if they're so evil, how/why are they so ignorant and limited? All of that silly snarling and gyrating when the world's worst evil's are always orchestrated by those with the status and wherewithal to conduct their evil within a guise of altruism, patriotism, $ecurity, god, protecting children, etc.

It's just that the way it often pans out in these type of possession flicks, it just seems as though evil inexplicably sets its sights a tad low, as where real evil manipulates in ways that affords millions to ignore its true character by focusing only on its deceptive surface (even though they know better).
