if you read the book, the ghost was not Mr. Toggle's mother. She was a victim of the school and the She and the hands dragged Mr. Toggle out of the shreek school throw him somehwere in the woods. The Ghost helped Jerry escaped. The episode just changes up the story line sometimes.
