I love Brendan and Jack together; Brendan smoothes Jack out (even though I love Jack's punkness), and Jack gives Brendan an edge. Those 2 together remind me of Lennon/McCarntey, with their singwriting and melodies. Awesome pair, and amazingly talented individuals-

You don' think Jack is a hugely talented songwriter? The way he says things, the phrases and thought patterns he has, are enormously deep, IMHO. Think about "Another Way To Die", the lyrics, and the ideas it invokes.

And Brendan's melodies, and certain orchestrations, remind me a little of McCartney's ballads.

That being said, Jack=Lennon, and Brendan=McCartney.

NO one will ever touch The Beatles, as far as musical greatness.
