As for mental problems mild intellectual disabilty to moderate mild realting to iq between 50 - 70 so ultimatley a person with down syndrome in this range i hazard would understand the joke against them. A dehumanizing joke thats suggests they have no individuality no personailty because thats what it is. Now i dont have any relations or know any body with downs syndrome but i done a little bit of research on the mental and physical problems that they have to endure during their all too short life i may add.

Congenital heart defects

Constant ear infections which can lead to deafness

I fucking love Jimmy Carr's stuff and I have a brother with Autism. Jimmy's done autism jokes before and I actually laughed at then. Why do some people get offended by comedy?

I mean, we all know comedy is just comedy.

Most people would never throw a blind guy out in traffic to see if he doesn't die. But it's something you would laugh at and joke about.

Some people are taking themselves and everything way too seriously.

And as for the person with downs, I'm pretty sure that person would love to be jokes about such as everyone else in this world.
