  • I wonder where she lives...it'd be awesome to have a doll shop around that sells volks XD

  • omg that makes me feel so happy im a 8th grader and ive always been afraid of peaple picking on me for liking ball jointed dolls but now u gave me the confidence to express thank you XD

  • for some reason volks just doesnt interest me. :( crobidoll is my favorite.

  • lol, this vid was uploaded on my B-Day last year~

  • wow very professional!

  • just because volks are her favorite doesnt mean shes an elitist.. lol seirously

  • everybody who knows me know that im collecting BJD or super dolfies and they like it. thats is a very special hobby they say ^^

and i really like those dolls ^^

  • Nice video

  • UGH it's ALWAYS Volks! Every article I see or read is always about Volks, which tends to confuse people. What is a false statement is "The only ones you can call Super Dollfie are the ones from Japan" There are other doll makers in Japan than Volks :P

Also, adding the tag "bjd" might get more hits

  • You're right, there are other companies from Japan...but only Volks dolls can be called Super Dollfies. Volks owns the right to the term "super dollfies". If I misspoke and said that only companies from Japan can call their dolls Super Dollfies, I apologize.

  • I like Volks, but I do wish that other companies could be looked into, especially the unpopular ones like Crobidoll or Rosen Lied. Cute dolls, but people don't pay attention.

However, the statement "The only ones you can call Super Dollfie are the ones from Japan" is true because there is only one major BJD company is Volks, and they practically invented the Super Dollfie, thus, the term is theirs and theirs only.

But Alysonsfriend already seemed to clear this up so nevermind.

  • :,)

    Cool ~

  • She seems like a pretty cool person. Plus the dolls are pretty neat.

  • that was a great video, well done!

  • oh my gosh! i want a super dollfie soooo bad. but i dont have the money right now. i wonder if i would get in trouble if i took a super dollfie to school. (i did get yelled at one for bringing my stuffed bunny)

  • ehehe...at my old school, i think everyone would have just stared at you and the teachers would try to ignore it.

  • Whats the name of the doll shop and were is it?

  • I love this ^^ The video editing was great and Lanie is such a unique and inspiring person!

  • if you're a volks elitest, you too can write for haute doll. wow what a claim....

  • @friednuts haute doll has more advertisements for dollmore than volks it seems

  • @friednuts That was really rude. Sure, she prefers Volks, but everyone has their favorite brands. She doesn't diss other doll companies, she just knows what she likes!

  • wow lame.

  • i especially like the ending :)

  • SO CLEVER haha tis sweet!

  • Shelby...I love you. :]
