  • Shit ass drive, not in sport

  • Ive seen old people fuck faster than that

  • I think its spelled (acceleration) DUMB ASS!!!!

  • automatic as fuck.

  • rs and s sucks

    sincerely

    ///M power and V series

  • @bmwandcadillacftw

You know what, there are a lot of cars that I think suck, including, but not limited to, the Ford Pinto, Kia Sephia, and Chevrolet (Daewoo) Aveo. But you know, I don't go to videos of them and post douchey comments. Why? Because I'm not a FUCKING ASSHOLE.

  • @924Carrera lol did i make u cry its called crash talk its not meant to crush your spirit hahaha

  • @bmwandcadillacftw

I believe you mean "trash talk." I was just observing how much of a douchebag you were.

  • @924Carrera calm down its all in good fun

  • @bmwandcadillacftw i agree the ms are better but the s4 r still great cars

  • @bmwandcadillacftw Silly comment. Look at head to head competition between Audi and BMW...in particular before Quattro was banned for being an unfair advantage...Audi owned BMWs ass!

  • If you guys have ever attended a real racing technique class you would know that speed of shifts are not as relevant as energy transfer from suspension. A quick shift is worthless if the suspension has travel. Love Internet racers.

  • @scoobydawg04 Thats the stupidest thing i read in some time. Suspension travel has absolutely no effect on the acceleration, especially in a car with 4WD. Wheels on a car with soft suspension will turn the same as on a car with stiff suspension. Energy transfer from suspension? You have no clue what you're talking about.

"Love Internet racers." Yea... its too bad you're one of them.

  • @derbigpr500 By making this post, you make it very clear to me that you have never attended a driving school or ever had an instructor show you proper technique. Suspension has more to do with acceleration including dampers and ride height than the driver impacts straight line speed. Sign up for a 2 day skip barber class and you will see (as I did). You're probably granny shiftin, not double clutchin like ya should BRIAN SPILLNER!

  • forthy liters per a hundred kilometers? OMFG!

  • I love Audi!!!!!!!!

  • our RS4 is much faster :)

  • you guys are just trollin because you dont have one. mad probs caspers

  • @zcla42892 right. check my uploads

  • This is not audi S4.This is a4!!!!!!

  • my original audi a4 b5 is faster than that and it sound better ;)

  • Its not

  • 0-100 km/h võiks olla

  • tahad ma võin teha :D

  • AAAHHH listen to that german V8 scream

  • @vincent4492 its a beautiful thing to wake up to in the morning...

  • ignore the POS comment, that was not me, it was my friends just playing because i drive the same vehicle.

  • If you floor an automatic Audi in drive it will shift right before 7,000.

  • This car really should perform better considering the size of its engine...

  • @hydrake

The size of an engine doesn't mean much, it's all about power. You can have a 5 liter engine producing 200 hp and a 2 liter engine producing 300 hp.

  • @lfsracer79

some people just don't get this idea. And not only is your comment correct, but the kind of car and weight comes into play. So according to hydrake, an eighteen wheeler should be way faster due to the size of its engine??

  • @dubgli good way to put it in.But a semi will haul a house up the hill thats what its made for alot of torque

  • @hydrake you have to consider the fact that the quattro make that the engine lost about 20% of the horsepower through the drivetrain so the v8 engine make 340bhp.. at wheel it would be about 272whp

  • driving like a dog walker

  • AudiDriver989 did you not see the comment that the video poster put up stating IT IS a manual.

  • POS

  • it sounds like the rs4 b7

  • Comment removed

  • Those gears are REALLY close.

  • oh yes audi power :X:X

  • obviously manual, automatic doesnt change gears at 7000rpm.

  • obviously your an idiot and dont drive an Audi RaymondBarreto. Those shifts where way to smooth for a manual car. Its Automatic he was prolly using the tiptronic feature at the time.

  • Tiptronic would display what gear you're in on the on the multifunction display

  • raymond im afraid your wrong there from a tiptronic and yes it does change at 7000rpm

  • Kommt mir irgendwie ziemlich lahm vor für einen V8!!

  • Comment removed

  • mir auch

  • Automatic or manual?

  • Comment removed

  • Yes it is!

  • The older B5 S4 had the 2.7 bi-turbo engine, but this B6 has the 4.2 V8.

  • of course is V8, please listen

  • that's impressive! wish i had a vehicle capable of that

  • jaa ne is klar dein golf is schneller als der s4 hier in dem video , noch nichtmal ein 6 zylinder golf kommt gegen den an

  • Sie sagen, ok

  • My dad has that car

  • he would

  • Who wouldn't want one? It's a nice car.

  • Ok? And your point?

  • Schafft mein Golf auch...

    3. Gang bei Hundert... Klasse Beschleunigung wenn er von vornherein bei 6000-7000 Umdrehungen ist...

  • Was ist du auto? Ich spechen Sie Deutsch nicht so gut.

  • I´m not a car...

I said thats not realy great if it starts with the 3 gear and 100 km/h and 6000 rounds...

  • Well shit sorry i was trying to ask what kind of car you got. Im slowly trying to learn german on my own. I even told you i speak german not so good.

  • loooooooooool! xD

  • ...jap muss ig sagen!

für nen v8 is dat nen bissel arm!

also mein Mv6 ging genauso wenn nich sogar noch schneller!

  • my cuz had 1 and every time i went out with him in it i begged him 2 put his foot down so i cud hear the v8 lol

  • Sounds good, man. :)

  • gotta love that v8 sound!!

  • Nope, its a manual. It goes as smooth as an auto, but much faster ;-)

  • @Caspers4 nobody can shift faster than an automatic

  • @alexrex20 LMAOOO

  • @alexrex20 U mean sequential transmission with 2 or 3 clutches then u are right but not a reglar automatic how about a 2 speed glider

  • @nawzy202 no, i don't. why do you think they use automatics in drag racing? they shift faster and they don't miss gears.

  • @alexrex20 that is a completely false statement. It all depends on the car you have. Yes a Lamborghini with the dual clutch auto will shift faster than the manual, but in the b6 S4, no the auto is slower.

  • @cvinc17 you know nothing about cars, specifically transmissions if you think a human shifting a shift lever is faster than ANY automatic transmission. there's a reason why they're used in drag racing.

  • @alexrex20 the reason they are used in drag racing is because they are typically stronger and can handle the torque of the car, not because they shift fast. You obviously know less than nothing if you can even consider the possibility that automatics are all faster than manuals. You obviously have never driven any one model vehicle that had both transmission options. There is a reason that most autos are slower accelerating than their manual counterparts. Look it up, you might learn something.

  • @cvinc17 the reason that the automatic is slower than its manual counterpart is because the automatic will typically have less gears and thus taller gear ratios. try harder next time. when you finally have some facts to qualify your statements, get back to me.

  • @alexrex20 no that is not the case at all, you cant generalize transmissions with that statement. many new or recent cars have shorter geared 7 or even 8 speed automatics which are still slower than their 6 speed manual counterparts, a great example being the 2010 Audi S4. Don't believe me? look it up or ask around, you will be told the same thing i am telling you. So nope you're wrong again, and as for trying harder, i don't need to, you are making this easy for me with your lack of knowledge.

  • @cvinc17 with the 2010 S4, manufacturer claims and empirical date from 3rd parties show identical 0-60mph times with EITHER transmission. we can then deduce that the 7-speed automatic has 1 extra shift compared to the 6-speed manual, though it still achieves the same 0-60mph time.

you are still wrong. please try harder. like i said, please give me some FACTS to qualify your statements. check out dictionary-dot-com for the definition of "facts."

  • @alexrex20 no im not wrong, and anyone else that knows cars will tell you the same thing and will agree with me if you asked them. I am sorry you feel that you are correct in this debate. How about i give you another example the bmw 335xi, which i know for a fact is slower 0-60 in auto form and i know for a fact shifts slower than i can row through the gears of its manual counterpart, its called personal experience. No need to try harder like i said, i dont need to.

  • @alexrex20 also as far as i have reviewed, the 0-60 of the auto is .3 seconds slower from 3rd party reviews. and saying "we can then deduce" is like saying we can then "assume". As far as my example goes it was only intended to prove to you that the gears are shorter in some automatics then in manuals, but some still dont accelerate any faster. Again your overall claims that generalize automatics shifting faster than manuals is false. In some cases it may be true, but over all, it is false.

  • @cvinc17 nice back tracking.

you'll forgive me when i say your "personal experience" doesn't mean shit. show me hard date - which you can't - and maybe i'll start taking you seriously. until then, keep talking out of your ass. keep offering up examples, only to be countered by me, so you can then say, "it was only intended to..."

give me a break. you fail.

  • @alexrex20 I fail? no the failure here is you and your inability to comprehend when you are wrong and have no clue what you are talking about. Back tracking? not even close. And the reason i offer examples is so you will learn the facts that you wanted so badly. There was none of your countering to them either, just your bias non-experienced opinion. You truly lack the common knowledge, experience, and maturity to be considered an automotive enthusiast. You probably don't even have a license.

  • Respond to this video... Just admit you are wrong and give up, it will save you the embarrassment from when other viewers review your comments and scoff with hilarity. You're making a fool out of yourself with your falsified, opinionated statements that hold no value.

  • @cvinc17 opinionated statements? you give examples. i prove them wrong. you give more examples. i again prove them wrong. keep fishing.

  • @alexrex20 No actually, I am quite positive that you have not managed to even come close to proving any of my examples wrong. Still fishing? I have already won the derby.

  • @alexrex20 Wrong, actually manuals have much less rotational mass than an automatic slush box therefore the power is delivered much more efficiently.

  • @hw454 that still doesn't mean you can shift a manual faster than an automatic. try again.

  • @alexrex20

I'm pretty sure you're just jealous because you don't know how to drive stick, so you have made an entire case based around the fact that "autos are faster" so that you won't look as bad.

    FAIL

  • @alexrex20

Also, you are right in that many automatics (not just the dual clutch stuff) do shift considerably faster than any driver can manually. However, the ACCELERATION of the car is usually slower because more power is lost through the fluid coupling of an automatic transmission than through the direct mechanical geartrain of a manual. True paddle shift setups such as Ferrari uses are actually manuals with electrohydraulic clutches, NOT automatics with torque converters.

  • @hw454 Interesting theory thats would be correct, if we were in 1980's. Todays automatic transmission with double clutch systems shift faster than any man could do, and do VERY smoothly, so you dont physicaly feel the shift at all, you just hear the sound of the engine changing. Take a ride in any new european car with double clutch gearbox and you'll see how much faster it is than manual. Example, VW Golf GTI with manual vs DGS gearbox. DSG = better acceleration, better fuel efficiency.

  • @Caspers4 i wouldn't bet on a manual against a DSG ...

  • manual i think

  • is this a manual or auto? shifts were so smooth it seems like an auto.
